Happy Monday!This past weekend was so fun (and exhausting)! Joe and I hosted for both our families which was a whirlwind and I wasn't in the office one day last week with appointments all over the place. Today and tomorrow are catch up days.

A few fun things about me:

In 2025 I'm hitting my goals and dreams hard. I'm stepping wayyy outside my comfort zone and stepping in front of whomever will lend a listening ear. Blogs, conferences, podcasts, my own social media...I'm excited and somewhat terrified to show up in person but this mission is not about me. Disability in the wedding industry is so much more important than my fear of public speaking.

I have two trips to California and one to Florida planned next year and that's almost all before our snow in Michigan melts. I can't wait to share so many gorgeous images with you!

I love earl grey tea. I'm drinking one right now :)

The only time that I am able to read is when I'm soaking in the bath tub...why is that?!

When someone asks me what my favorite color is...I never know the answer. It always depends on what the color is for... Does anyone else feel that way?!

I hired a virtual assistant a couple of months ago and she has basically given me some of my life back. I'm so thankful for her help every single day. Before I had all these ideas and things I wanted to do but never enough time to just get my editing done so she has helped me push everything one step further.

I like snow - when I'm cozy on my couch next to my pellet stove.

Luke & Annemarie had me come to their home in Utah to capture their engagement photos. This was seriously the best time.It gave us a chance to work together before the wedding, getting any awkwardness out in advance if there were any, learning my posing and see what poses work best for them. We saved valuable wedding day time doing this all months prior and also came away with some amazing photos.

It's a really good idea to have engagement photos taken by your wedding photographer :)
