"From our initial consult to the day of our wedding - the process was seamless. Joe, Tommy & Kurt were a dream team to have & an absolute JOY to be around! They truly captured our day flawlessly despite the rainy weather. I knew I could have full confidence in AZS from the start- as they were the only photographer we met with that did not compare & contrast themselves to any other business. They valued & believed in their work - & it was evident in the photos we received. Bri is a very special person with a heart of gold, she's warm and inviting with a smile that makes you smile and her positive vibes totally matched mine. My lead off photo speaks volumes about her. That adorable little girl she's kissing on the head is her maid of honor! Bri's 10 year old god daughter (Who BTW gave an amazing speech). Did you know AZS does all types of photography? Today I got to visit with super star Chef and past AZS Bride Rose, who is the owner and Head Chef of Polo's Bar & Grill in Netcong. She hired us to do a biography life style photoshoot.

I purposefully went to this shoot hungry, knowing full well she wasn't gonna let me leave without some kick ass dish! Well Rose didn't disappoint! That beautiful steak she's rocking was my lunch, adorned in Rose's signature garlic butter with sautéd peppers and onions fashioned like an Italian flag. It was absolutely amazing! Rose being the ultra kind and thoughtful person she is, she also made one to go for my wife Sarah!

I'm sure Polo's doesn't need a tag by me, but if by some chance you haven't checked out this spectacular restaurant with great vibes and an even better staff, then put Polo's Bar and Grill on your must dine list, and tell them Anthony sent ya!

Anthony’s Story

Anthony Ziccardi has been passionate about photography all his life. His father gave him his first semi pro SLR camera (a Canon AE1) at 11. Anthony started his career as a professional photographer and graphic designer in the city. In 2001 he was recruited by his former high school to introduce a photography program & instruct Graphic Design. He decided to leave the private sector behind and pursue a career in education. ​ During the summer of 2002 Anthony was approached by a former photography student who asked if he would consider photographing her wedding. He agreed as a favor. Soon after that event Anthony started receiving word of mouth requests from other couples who had seen his work, and wanted him to do their weddings. Fast forward to today and AZS has become one of the most awarded, trusted and sought after studios in New Jersey with many of its couples booking two years in advance. ​ In 2008 Anthony decided to expand his small company into a full time portrait studio. Presently Anthony Ziccardi Studios is in its 3rd and largest studio, located in Anthony’s home town of Sparta NJ. AZS currently has over 30 full and part time associates. After ten years in education, Anthony resigned from a his teaching career to focus solely on AZS with his wife Sarah. He holds a BFA in Photography and Graphic Communications as well as a teaching certificate from Ramapo College... Anthony now trains and mentors aspiring A-Team photographers.
