To Have & To Hold Ministries We are two ordained minister specializing in non denominational weddings and civil unions. We have This is why your ceremony is so important.

We are professional, well spoken individuals who enjoy working with couples in order to create their perfect, individualized ceremony. Since 2007, we have been writing and performing wedding ceremonies after getting to know each couple with a face to face meeting and/or a Skype phone call. During this conversation we able to understand exactly what the couple envisions for their perfect wedding ce

remony. Throughout the process, we work closely with the couple to be sure everything is exactly as they had envisioned. We are articulate writers and speakers and are comfortable speaking in front of large or small groups. We are both well-educated individuals who work full time in the education field. We have both been commended for our abilities in public speaking and have been told that we have wonderful speaking voices. We enjoy creating ceremonies after getting to know each couple and all of their wonderful qualities. We both reside in NJ and are family men who understand the importance of being surrounded by those you love most, which is why your wedding day is so special. It is the one day when all of your closest friends and relatives are together in one place celebrating you and your love for one another. Being a wedding officiant has always been great, but 2024 was an especially wonderful year. Proud to announce that To Have and To Hold Ministries has earned the 2025 Couples’ Choice Award from Wedding Wire! Patrick would like to thank all of the fantastic couples he’s had the pleasure of working with this year, those who took the time to leave such thoughtful reviews, as well as the great venues where he’s had the honor of performing those ceremonies, namely Skyview and Perona Farms. 2021 was a busy year for us! Patrick and I performed over 70 weddings collectively, some of which were rescheduled weddings from 2020 or vow renewal ceremonies for couples that had a small intimate wedding during 2020.

Once again Rev. Patrick and I have been given the honor of receiving the Couples' Choice Award from Wedding Wire. We received this prestigious award thanks to the wonderful reviews that our couples left for us during this past year. 2020 was not the best year for many of our couples as they had to cancel and reschedule their weddings due to Covid-19. Luckily we were still able to do many mini ceremonies, or "mini-monies" as one couple coined, and were able to reschedule all weddings to 2021.

Thank you to all who left us the reviews that got us this award. Rev. Patrick and I are so grateful to you all and we are looking forward to another year filled with happy memories as we join so many beautiful couples in marriage!
