Thank you to everyone who attended the Dash and Dance Futurity!
We had big numbers this year, a lot of extra work comes with that and I am so thankful the good lord blessed me with the best team!!
Thinking about it all this morning has brought me to tears (I know I am tired too) Everyone helped out, filled in, concurred every task with a smile ๐
Glen and Shelly Lammers are with me through the entire process, entries, ground, setup, tear down, clean up, they are present and I could never express how much all of their time and effort means to me.
The ground was amazing all weekend!
Chandler Comfort can not only keep the show moving along he keeps the ground safe and consistent. All of the late hours, early mornings are so appreciated!! At a barrel race of this size in 100 degree temperatures keeping the ground from changing dramatically through the day is a big challenge and takes someone that cares about how it is changing and what needs to be done as the race moves through the day. We appreciate everything you do!! Thank you ๐
Della Amdahl and Sunday Bossert ran the new gate system and also help with exhibitions. we set up to ensure every contestants safety before and after their runs. They both are on point watching for down barrels making sure eyes are not running before the next contest runs, hats that come off, bells boots, horse shoes, and I guess belts, one of those was brought in too ๐คท๐ผโโ๏ธ Thank you ๐
Ann Nonnast was there for it all! She helped with check in, gates, prize organization and give away, and anything else that needed done! you were amazing all weekend and I so appreciate you!!!! Thank you ๐
Jodi and Mike Nible, the week before the race, they were present and helping! Unloading panels to cut pens in half, to hold more horses, chopping weeds ๐ฌ
They sett up an entire concession stand last minute, cooking meat, making amazing meals, you are a blessing!! Thank you ๐
All of my kids came home ๐๐
Lucas Lantis ran the entire event on the program he set up! Never a worry when he is by my sideโค๏ธ
Thank you for working remotely all of July so you could help get everything ready and run the events. It has been amazing spending the month with youโฃ๏ธ
Kali Lantis was here all summer from college, she helped out everywhere it was needed, loved spending time with her all summer! ๐
Kayla Lantis is in high school, still at home, so no choice, she gets a lot of work thrown at her all year! ๐ appreciate it all Kayla
Mike and Kassidy Kuka came over from MN, Kassidy took a travel position at Spearfisn hospital. Both Kassidy and Mike have been around for everything that needed to be set up, the new gate system Mike was all in helping to make it happen. They fixed, hauled, fed, pretty much everything! Thank you ๐
Terri Kissack announced all weekend and does a fabulous job! She knows most of the contestants and bloodlines so itโs always a flawless flow through the event! Thank you ๐
I had the best barrel setters EVER!!
Mike Kuka set second barrel for the entire event!! ๐ณ we were knocking on the door of 1000 runs!! Thank you ๐
Damion Hall has always been like a son to me, he had last minute leave from his intense military job in Italy. Iโm so thankful he chose to come and visit us! Damian jumped in to set barrels, cook amazing food, fix water tanks, and just be there for all of us!! Thank you ๐
Karly Verhulst was there to set barrels check horses in, run any errand that needed done, she is one of the hardest working girls I know. Thank you for helping me this weekend ๐
I have always been a little nervous about having younger girls comment to setting barrels, itโs a heavy job!
Morgan Little, Gwen Ruhumel, Phoebe Nible, Kayla Lantis killed it!! You girls are amazing ๐คฉ
Next year is our 15th anniversary ๐๐๐๐
Thank you everyone who helped make this year a success!!! ๐
