I do not understand why this is happening but this brisket and all beef prices are getting crazy on this going up. I bought 250 lbs on Thursday and checked the price this morning and the price is up another 30 cents. Prices getting close to where were during the COVID bs. No reason for it to. Enough of that. We will be getting geared up for the Spearville City of Windmills COW Fest this coming weekend. Looking forward to it. Will also be catering the 1980 class reunion on Friday night. The festival will be taking place July 11 and 12. The big party happens on the 12th. I hope everyone has a great week and a safe and wonderful 4th of July. Can you Smell Whats Cookin' .

Have all my items cleaned up from yesterday. My customer brought back my warmers and pans. Said everyone loved the meal. I sure do hope this sustained 30mph winds and gust to 45 calms down. It is getting real old. Only been doing this for 3 days now. Made for a fun cook yesterday on my stick burner. If it is blowing like this on Tuesday I probably won't go to that auction. I am not going to pull my trailer in this wind. I think it is suppose to calm down to our normal 15 to 20mph. Then we will be off for a couple weeks. Will be getting ready for the City Of Windmills festival here in Spearville. Until next time can you Smell Whats Cookin'.

That is a wrap for me with the Sunflower Classic Benefit Truck Show this year. Yesterday was a better day for me. The show has I know of at least 68 trucks early yesterday morning. There was more than showed up after that. This picture was the only one I got from the show. Thought it was fitting for what the trucking industry does for us. Give these guys respect cause they are making this country go. They deliver your everyday things that you do or use. We are off next weekend but will be getting supplies. This is our next event. The Sunflower Classic Benefit Truck Show . This show raises money for childrens medical care. Each year they pick a new family. This year is a 11 year old girl with Acute Lymphoma on April 6th 2025 was diagnosed. All the proceeds from this show will go to help with medical expenses for the family. Hope you come out to Garden City and check out the amazing trucks that deliver your goods. This show keeps getting bigger each year I have been there. Hope to see you there.
