Today was a bit of a rollercoaster at Millie’s Meadow. We found out that 253 tulip bulbs had rotted in storage while we’ve been in between building our walk-in cooler. Honestly, it was such a letdown to lose that many bulbs.

But the day wasn’t all bad!! We also got the rest of our tulips planted—over 1,000 bulbs are now tucked into their new raised beds and ready to grow. 😊🌷 Even with this setback, we’re still feeling hopeful and excited about what’s ahead.

Farming definitely has its ups and downs, but we’re so grateful for every step of this journey. Spring is still going to be full of color, and we can’t wait to share it all with y’all next year!

Can you believe the 2024 growing season is already wrapping up? I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who supported Millie’s Meadow this year!! It’s been an amazing journey, and your support has made it all the more special.

What started as a little backyard project has turned into something truly beautiful, and I couldn’t have done it without you.✨💕 Sharing our flowers with the community has been such a joy. There’s just something magical about getting your hands dirty in the garden and creating something lovely to share.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being a part of this journey. I can’t wait for many more seasons of growth and beauty together.🌼
