We are so lucky to have the most amazing secretaries running our office! Let’s get to know them….⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
“This is my 10th year at Broadway. One of my favorite things about being a Broadway star is when Broadway senior high school students come at the end of the year in their caps and gowns, and proudly walk the halls to the sounds of students and staff clapping and cheering. It truly is something special. My other favorite thing is dress-up days”! -Jessie
“I love being a Broadway star because everyone gets to shine”! -Brook
“When I’m not at Broadway, my husband Luke and I love to go to the movie theater and eat a big tub of extra buttery popcorn while we watch a movie. I also enjoy going to the gym, walking on the Centennial Trail, and hiking”. -Jessie
“When I’m not at Broadway, you will find me spending time with my friends and family”. -Brook
We are super excited to welcome Mrs. Nootenboom to Broadway as our school counselor! She has amazing resources on our counselor section of our school website: https://bes.cvsd.org/apps/pages/index.jsp?uREC_ID=4214415&type=d&pREC_ID=2510563
“I am most excited about getting to know the students. Elementary is a fun time for learning and growing and each day is different! I learn as much from the kids as they do from me. I’m grateful my career has brought me to Broadway. This is a special place”.
- Mrs. Nootenboom
When she is not at Broadway, she is spending time with her husband, or her adult children! She loves big family dinners. If she is alone, she is reading or out walking her dogs!

Here is what they LOVE about teaching Kindergarten:
“I love seeing the growth each student makes throughout the year socially and academically. Kindergarten is the BEST”. -Mrs. Thompson
“My favorite thing about teaching kindergarten is how much the students grow academically and socially by the end of the year! We learn a ton from September to June but always find time in our days to play and be silly”! -Mrs. McMains
When Mrs. McMains is not at Broadway you can find her at Target, playing with her 15 month old daughter and 2 dogs, or searching for the best Pad Thai in Spokane!
Mrs. Thompson loves spending time with her husband and two daughters! They love to go on walks, bike rides, or to the lake!
