Happy Saturday! This German dish is called "Gaisburger Marsch", a Swabian speciality from the Stuttgart region, it could make the perfect dish for this weekend - it's so easy to make. Join us on December 14th, at the German-American Society for this delicious Christmas dinner prepared by Frank Marmo, a culinary academy graduate, along with out very own, Peter Schoen. They will be whipping up a traditional Sauerbraten (marinated roast beef). The cost is $25.00 and the doors actually open at 5:30 pm instead of 6 pm. For reservations, please call Charlotte at 509-954-6964.

On Sunday, December 15th, starting at 3 pm, the annual Christmas service at St. Mark's Lutheran Church located at 24th and Grand Blvd. The actual address is 316 E. 24th Ave. The German-American Society Choir will be singing. After the service, everyone is invited to the German club at 25 West Third Ave for coffee and treats.
