One of the sweetest things about hosting events at Beacon Hill is watching the grounds come alive. Over the decades, we’ve cultivated a stunning outdoor space where roses, lavender, Russian sage, and more slowly unfurl into full bloom. These plants, now beautifully mature, create an ever-changing backdrop for your celebrations. 🌿🌸⁠

Caring for this space is truly a labor of love. Our facilities manager, Richard, keeps everything tidy year-round—staining walkways, fixing inventory, and maintaining the venue’s elegance. Ellie, Mary & Jennifer ensure every detail is accounted for, and dream up timeless updates to our space long before they are needed. And if you’re lucky, you might catch Linda (Marge) strolling the grounds, chatting while w**ding and nurturing this special place.⁠

When you tour Beacon Hill, it’s easy to focus on the tables, chairs, china, and food—all of which we provide with care. But beyond the logistics, we’re here to remind you that this place is lovingly maintained all year long. We’re getting ready for magic at Beacon Hill. One of the sweetest things about having an outdoor venue is watching the plants slowly unfurl their beautiful foliage, fringe and flowers. We’ve been working on the outdoor grounds for decades and many of our plants, notably our roses, lavender, Russian sage and a few others, are so fun to watch come alive. These plants have a beautiful, full maturity to them. Before we know it they’ll be lush with blooms. ⁠

It is a joy to see the grounds come alive every year. Our facilities manager, Richard, who’s worked with us for about 10 years keeps everything up-kept. We also have family and friends who work for us in the summer to w**d, prune and nurture the grounds to keep all these plants happy. It is a labor of love. ⁠

When groups come in to tour, their questions tend to be about the number of chairs we have, the china we provide, the food, the staff who will be on-site and more. And these are all important questions. But, we’re just here to remind you that not only to we provide so many services and amenities, we also look after this place year-round. You’ll find Richard re-staining walkways and pergolas or fixing up damaged inventory, in January you’ll find Mary double checking inventory of an item we won’t need until June, and, if you’re lucky, you might catch a conversation with Linda (Marge) walking and w**ding through the grounds, nurturing this place to its happiest state. 🌸⁠

One thing that sets Beacon Hill apart is that this is NOT our home. Though the team loves it here and maybe, on occasion, we've joked that we live here in the summers, in reality we don't What does that mean for your wedding?⁠

When you rent this space it is YOUR home for the day. It is the place that you can enjoy and relish every last joyous second in! You can make memories and not feel like you are intruding on someone else's space. Because of this, we've found that Beacon Hill weddings are SO FUN!⁠

One thing we always keep in the forefront of our minds when it comes to weddings is YOU. ✨️ We love going above and beyond for our clients or event potential clients. Our Toast, Taste & Tour event in November was one way for us to show that. We invited interested (and a few already booked!) couples up for a morning of brunch bites, bubbly and tours. When it comes to , we know that St. Al's gets so much love - and rightly so! But, the GU Student Chapel is absolutely stunning and holds a special place in the hearts of many alumni. We absolutely LOVED this ceremony location for Joe & Margaret's intimate Friday wedding, followed by a large ceremony and reception on a Saturday at that we had the honor of catering!
