Im honored and excited to announce that I was selected as the 2023 Individual Artist for the Mayor Arts Award.

I am incredibly fortunate to be able to make art for a living and share it with community nearly every weekend. I really do have the best job in the world in the best community I could ask for.

Art means so much to me it's difficult to put into words. It's healing, life altering and has literally saved my life on multiple occasions. Art is powerful and I am privileged enough to be able to use it to spread joy, happiness and absolute magic.

Thank you to all of you have supported and encouraged me to live out actual dreams. I couldn't do it without all of you. Especially my closest family and friends I love you all. Grant Kole none of this would be possible without you. I appreciate all you have sacrificed and done to make my fairytale come true.

A special thank you to Jennifer Morreale for seeing me as an artist and nominating me. I truly am honored.

You will have to wait until next week to find out. The Mayors Art's Awards will be handed out, by the Mayor, to a great group of local artists and friends of the arts. Wednesday, November 8th, at 4:30 at City Hall.
The public is welcome to come congratulate the recipients and their achievements, and celebrate the awesome art scene in Elko! See you then!
