💫 Use a variety of textures. Mix and match delicate florals with bold blooms

💫 Use a mixture of different floral varieties for maximum visual appeal

💫 Add depth by varying heights of individual flowers. Don’t be afraid to layer up your florals! This will give your arrangement an awesome effect that will have everyone stopping to gaze intently at your beautiful composition

How to maximize your event decor 👇🏾

Our top 5 professional decor tips to help you transform your venue and astonish your guests with a beautiful and cohesive event design:

1. Vary Up Your Guest Table Designs

Instead of selecting identical centerpieces for each guest table, choose 2-3 designs to alternate with. This will add more of a professional, tasteful look that your guests will love.

2. Add a Unique Floral Installations

Floral installations such as arches/arbors, suspended arrangements, or flower/champagne walls make great focal pieces and will really help to bring your event’s theme to life and complete the decor throughout for a seamless look that fits your style perfectly. Plus they make great photo ops!

3. Add a Variety of Lighting

Try to incorporate 3-4 different types of accent lighting in your event space. This will help bring warmth and a soft, romantic glow to your space while also expressing your unique theme and style. Some of our favorites include chandeliers, string lights, and votive candles!

Hello! Myra here 👋🏾 With so many new faces around here lately I wanted to take a minute to say welcome - it’s great to have you here!

Here are a few fun facts about me:

✨My dream is to be able to one day grow fields of our own flowers

✨My go-to order is a caramel frappe with an affogato shot and coconut milk

✨ I started Rison Design 14 years ago with a dream to use my artistic skills and love for floral design to bring joy to couples by bringing their unique vision for their wedding to life. We have now branched out to offer rental services and event styling as well!

✨ I have 3 wonderful kiddos who love flowers just as much as I do (and line up to get their one blossom each whenever I’m working on a floral project)

✨ I would love to travel to Japan to see the spring blossoms and the Netherlands when the tulips are blooming

✨ We have an overly excited Cavapoo named Penny and one of these days we will find her a mate and have some adorable puppies 🥰 (what breed would you recommend?)

Hello!👋🏾 I wanted to share the face behind the business since I haven’t introduced myself on here in a while. I’m Myra, owner of Rison Design.

I’ve always been drawn to flowers and growing plants since I was a child and started competing in floriculture through Future Farmers of America back in 2007. I have been working in the floral design industry ever since! In the past few years, Rison Design has branched out to offer event rentals and day-of coordination services as well.

I love that I am able to use my artistic skills and love for design on a daily basis not only with florals but in all aspects of wedding design. It brings me so much joy working with couples to bring their unique vision for their wedding to life 💞
