I often get asked, as a wedding planner, what my favorite part of a wedding is, and THIS IS IT! Perfectly captured by Jenelle Kappe Hilton] is the moment immediately following the ceremony. Our Bride and Groom, after having just recessed down the aisle, is whisked away by me to enjoy some private time while their family and friends make their way to cocktail hour.

I’m the first person to congratulate them and I’m the only one who gets to witness those amazing moments when in begins to sink… WE’RE MARRIED!

All the joy, all the love…it’s my favorite part. It’s why I love my job.

It’s been a tough two years for us. 2020 was sad and chaotic as we postponed all of our weddings and 2021 was insanely busy as we executed double the events we would normally take on. The back...to back...to back events left me utterly and emotionally exhausted. There were no days off, no down time. It was just go, go, go for 5 months straight. But our season is done! We made it though and we are starting to feel “normal” again.

I couldn’t be more proud of our team for pushing through these incredibly tough months and sticking with me through the most difficult two years of my life. Shayna, Ali, Samantha, Angie (and sometimes Ryan)…you have all been my biggest support system. I literally could not have pulled 2021 off without you all!

I’m so grateful to our couples who stayed positive and patient as plans constantly changed while we navigated though unfamiliar territory and dealt with things like covid testing, flower + product shortages, shipping difficulties and a few hurricanes. Thank you for always continuing to trust us!

I’ve been off social media for awhile now, as I just didn’t have the time or energy to dedicate to weekly posts. But, I'm back! We are starting to receive all of the professional photos that were taken this past season and I can’t wait to start showing off all of the wonderful weddings we were fortunate to be a part of.

Stay tuned…there is a whole lot of prettiness coming.
