Committee members, volunteers, and non-profit organizations interested in fundraising on the 4th - please join us this Monday, January 6th, 7:00pm at the Springfield Community Center to get things rolling! 🇺🇸

REMINDER: The Springfield 4th of July Committee will hold its final wrap-up meeting for 2024 on Tuesday, July 30th, 7:00pm at the Springfield Community Center. Please feel free to join us! 🇺🇸
(Note: this meeting was rescheduled to the 30th from the originally scheduled date of July 16th due to the electrical outage on that day)

See you in Springfield... the place to be on the 4th of July!!🇺🇸 While the forecast has shifted toward cloudy skies and potential showers in the morning, the parade will go on RAIN OR SHINE. Please arrive early for free parking at the Springfield Community Center, 129 County Rd 29A in Springfield Center, NY. The parade begins at 11:00am sharp! 🥁🎊🇺🇸

It's almost time!!🤩
🇺🇸 4th of July committee members & community volunteers - please join us at the Springfield Community Center to help set up on Wednesday, July 3rd at 10:00am!
Clean-up volunteers will meet at Glimmerglass State Park at 8:30am on Friday July 5th, and tent breakdown will take place at the Springfield Community Center at 10:00am Friday.

It looks like we'll have a perfect SUMMER Day for the 4th of July! 🇺🇸 🌞 While we don't expect extreme temperatures, it can get HOT in the sun - especially for those in uniform or costumes! This year, we will have two COOLING STATIONS available: the FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH on the parade route, and the SPRINGFIELD LIBRARY at the Community Center - Both will be open to ANYONE who needs to cool down on the 4th 🥵☃️ (Please note: if someone shows more serious signs of heat stress, seek help from the nearest medic tent) 💗

Don't forget to pick up your tickets for the Glimmerglass Festival's Springfield Appreciation Concert on July 13th! YES - tickets will be sold at the Community Center after the parade on July 4th, but we recommend beating the crowds and picking them up at Convenience Corner at Rts 20 & 80 in Springfield Center, along with your Springfield 4th of July T-shirts (and you'll want to grab a delicious sub while you're there😋)! Tickets are still just $5 each, and you won't want to miss the show! Plus, all ticket & T-shirt sales support the Springfield 4th of July Parade and Celebration 🇺🇸

Expect SCATTERED FLURRIES on the 4th of July! After the Parade and Celebration in Springfield Center, join us at Glimmerglass State Park for an Evening Concert featuring favorite rock tunes by 'Scattered Flurries' starting at 7:30pm - followed by FIREWORKS!!!🎇

In honor of this year's theme of "Hometown Celebration" we want to give a shout-out to all of the FIRE DEPARTMENTS in the parade every year!! This year, we are proud to host at least 18 Fire Departments! Yes, there are lots of fun things in the parade, but everyone loves the FIRETRUCKS!!!🚒🔔💖🚘👨‍🚒
