Today was nothing short of amazing. To be recognized as the Springfield Chamber of Commerce’s New & Emerging Business Owners of the Year among so many incredible nominees is such an honor.
The road to get here has not been easy–we’ve faced challenges, made sacrifices, and even butt heads at times, but we can all agree that the journey has been, without a doubt, 100% worth it.
Our goal was to create a space where all would feel welcome, where friends would gather to enjoy a drink and good conversation, and where *maybe* you might feel like you were in some big city and not your hometown you’ve lived in forever. Little did we know, it would evolve into a place where we have shared some of life’s greatest moments with our community, from engagements and weddings to pregnancy announcements and baby showers, it has been a true labor of love.
In the last two and a half years, we have learned so much, and have been so fortunate to have an incredible support system of friends, family, and team members by our side throughout the process.
Thank you again to the Chamber and judges for this award, to our husbands for supporting our crazy ideas, and, of course, to our community, for not only seeing our vision, but continuing to choose to spend your time in our space. We could not have done this without you all!
And to anyone dreaming of taking the leap and starting that small business—be bold, be relentless, and never stop advocating for yourself. Trust your vision, drown out the doubt, and most importantly, just go for it.
