We couldn’t have picked a better name for the shop. Just two friends taking the next step of opening a store when our paths crossed in the endeavor. We thought…party goods, balloons, flowers and gifts just make sense together! The rest is history ❤️

So what is Serendipity? (The store) We are and . We partnered on the space Serendipity to make our services more accessible and reach new goals for our individual businesses. Our passion for locally made goods has been a focus from the beginning and we now are home to over 20 local makers goods. We offer a variety of items and services including balloons, paper goods, party decor, floral, plants, jewelry, art, skincare, clothing and more. Whether you’re planning a party, shopping for a gift or just looking for some retail therapy, the shop has a little something for everyone!

Hello friends! I’m Cherrelle, resident flower farmer and floral artist at Serendipity and owner of .👋

A couple facts about me:

1. I have a not-so-secret love affair with nature. It slows my racing thoughts and calms my heart. Nothing compares to feeling the rush of a breeze while hearing the rustling of leaves as a storm rolls in or zoning into the intricate layers of the Fibonacci Spiral of a flower. I am so thankful to have the ability to experience creation, deeply, on a daily basis.

2. I married my high school boyfriend not long after graduation. We’re coming up on our 21st year of marriage & have been through so much, but chose to draw closer to each other through each trial and are so thankful we have.

3. I am a boy mom x3. Our eldest is now a Junior and our youngest will be starting Kindergarten next month! I’m also mom to 4 cats, 2 dogs, 3 goats, 13 chickens, over 300 houseplants, and a leopard gecko.

4. I was adopted as an infant, but found out I was actually never legally adopted after my (dear adoptive) mom died when I was 23. Think Lifetime Movie Network movie. 😋

Flora & Forge was born from my love of gardening coupled with the Covid19 Pandemic shut down & my husband losing his job of nearly a decade.

F&F began with a bonus-pollinator-garden-turned-to-mason-jar-bouquet-social-distanced-porch-delivery, but it has become so much more! Floral design has become part of me like nothing else I have done. It’s completely captivating in every way. What an absolute blessing it is to be able to grow & design for the people in our community. We offer bouquet bar, delivery, floral preservation, bulk buckets, and wholesale flowers; but workshops, weddings, and events have quickly become my favorite!

As a family of makers & artists, I have a passion for locally made goods. I’m so proud to say we carry over 25 local brands in our storefront!

Sydnie and I have had so much fun bringing something fresh and unique to . We’re thrilled to be part of such an awesome community of merchants & customers! I can’t imagine doing this business in any other place with anyone else!

Hello friends! I’m Sydnie, the balloon and party guru at Serendipity and owner of . A couple facts about me:
1. My love language is a drink
2. I love finding treasures at thrift stores and garage sales
3. I have 2 beautiful babies. Haven is 5 and starting kindergarten next month 😭 and Hendrix is 1.5. They are my whole world!
4. I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease at 8, Type 1 Diabetes. I love sharing and educating others about it and am passionate about not letting chronic diseases hold you back from your dreams.

At first, DDC was wire jewelry focused as a way for me to have a creative outlet as a teenager but I always saw my business growing into other art forms. In 2019, I was searching for a way to not go back to my full time day job so I could spend as much time with my new baby as possible. I had made balloon garlands for friends and loved throwing “bougie” parties 😂 At the time, I saw a lack of organic balloon garland artists in our area and thus the event decor part of Dreamy & Darling was born!! We’ve evolved into many types of event decor such as rentals, floral focal points, backdrops and custom decor. I’ve loved being a part of so many important life moments and am in awe of the support my family, friends and community have given!

Opening a storefront had been a dream of mine for several years. I wanted to bring a unique selection of party goods and gifts to the 417. In the last year, we’ve added hundreds of paper goods, gifts, balloon bar (helium and air filled pick up balloon arrangements) and even a lip gloss bar to Serendipity. Bringing Serendipity to life on my own would not have been possible (or as much fun). I’ve loved getting to live out this dream with Cherrelle by my side!

Flora & Forge Floral Design & Blacksmith specializes in utilizing the best of each season with a focus on locally grown flowers and sustainability.

What started as an accidental flower farm during the height of the pandemic has flourished into providing flowers in just about every way possible: wedding & event florals, bouquet subscriptions, pop-up bouquet bars, floral workshops, wholesale & bulk flowers, hospitality & commercial florals, edible flowers, and floral preservation!

It is our joy to offer Flora & Forge’s build-your-own-bouquet-bar every day we are open!
