Wonderful 2023 Live Nativity Cast. God bless them. Around 2100 people heard and saw the gospel story portrayed. Aided by Scott Greer and best ever choir, our narrator David Taylor who lost his voice yet stayed and guided Dan Swadley, who did a great job. Our pastor Brad Bennett. Steve Griffin and his sound and lighting crew. Davey Wright and the setup crew. And, couldn't be done without all the volunteers who setup, promote, follow-up, tear down, provide costumes, park cars, provide refreshments, and pray for this event. And of course David Cotter, our director, whose vision this has been for the past 10 years.

Live Nativity 2023 will begin each evening with two presentations at 6:30 and 7:30 p.m., Nov. 30, Dec. 1 & 2 in the Central Events Building at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds. Use gate 11 on Grant Avenue to access the parking lot. Admission is free. This narrated depiction of Jesus' life from birth to the ascension will be a blessing to you. Bring a friend and join us!

Rehearsals for the 2022 Live Nativity are just a week and a half away, on Nov. 28 and 29 at 6:30 pm. We can still use more men, women, and children cast members and choir members. The old arena is no more, and we will be in the big barn just north of there. Performances at 6:30 and 7:30, Dec.1,2, and 3. Pray for God to move and bless all who view our presentation. 2021 Live Nativity is history now. Our largest crowd Saturday night. Over the three days, 62 indicated they had received Christ, and there were 95 prayer requests. We will be following up on these in the days ahead. To God be the Glory. Thank you to all who participated in the cast, narrator David Taylor, Pastor Brad Bennett, Scott Greer and choir, Sound and Lighting Steve Griffin, the many who helped with setup, provided animals, provided refreshments, did publicity, costuming, sound, lighting, and effects, parking, security, packing candy, the churches and individuals who helped with funding, Greene County Baptist Association, and anyone else who had a hand in making this a reality. And, above all, to our Savior, whose story deserves telling again and again. God bless you all and have a blessed Merry Christmas!

By the way, teardown begins at 8 Monday morning if you would like to lend a hand. Thanks!

Dear 2021 Live Nativity Participants,
Looking forward to rehearsal tomorrow night at 6:30. However, I regret to inform you Davey and Carol Wright have become ill, and so our meal for Monday and Tuesday is cancelled. Please pray for them and a quick recovery. Please come directly to the arena floor when you arrive. We will have time to gather costumes later. Wear a jacket as temps are dropping and it may be cool in the arena.

Live Nativity Friends,
We are about a month away from the 2021 Live Nativity, Dec. 9-11. This is a great opportunity to share the gospel through the telling of the life of Jesus. We still need more men, women, and children for disciples, travelers, and angels. If you can participate, contact me, Wayne Garrison, at 417-619-6761 or [email protected]. We are also wanting choir members for one to all three nights. We have a new costume trailer and are excited to once again share this presentation.

Rehearsals are Dec. 6 and 7 at 6:30 p.m. at the Corwin Arena at the Fairgrounds. Davey and Carol Wright plan to have a light supper from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. on rehearsal nights.

Performances are at 6:30 and 7:30 the 9th, 10th and 11th. Come and join us!
