On this day 10 years ago was my very first ribbon cutting with the Robertson County Chamber of Commerce. I still remember that day, talking about my vision and the plans I had for the farm. We’ve grown a lot, changed a lot, met a lot of great people along the way, but the best is yet to come. We’re already in the middle of planning out next year’s events and I can’t wait to share what we have in store! We’re getting back to our roots in 2025!

In just a few short weeks, on October 30, we have another ribbon cutting planned with the White House Area Chamber of Commerce. We hope you can join us to hear more about the future of Red River Farms

What’s the best farm fresh “anytime” snack that can be breakfast, lunch, or supper?!?! Yep….. it’s Shade Tree Farm and Orchard fresh apple cider donuts! Mrs. Sarah will have donuts and apples here tomorrow. They make a great snack while you’re out on the Experience Robertson County trail!

Tomorrow is the day! Get out and “experience” what all Robertson County has to offer. If you’re starting on the eastern side of the county, Bernard Farms Custom Cuts and Market will be here sharing their story about what led them into the custom meat business. But most importantly, they’ll be sharing their famous sausage and biscuits for breakfast!

I just wanted to take a minute to thank each and every one of you for another great sunflower season! Thanks to our families and staff that put in such hard work, to all the vendors for supporting us, to close friends for lending a helping hand, but most of all thanks to all those that came out in the scorching heat to support the farm. I enjoyed meeting new friends and seeing those that have been coming year after year. We put our hearts and souls into this festival each year to hopefully make it bigger and better. I hope you had a great experience and will continue to make the sunflower festival a tradition for years to come! If you know me, you know my wheels are turning and I’m already back to the drawing board brainstorming for next year! See yall at the 2025 Sunflower Festival!

We are CLOSED, Sunday, July 21, 2024 to spend some time with our family. We will re-open for the final days of the Sunflower Pickin & Pictures weather permitting tomorrow, Monday, July 22 from 5-8pm. The last day we will be open to see the sunflowers, take pictures, etc. Will be Thursday, July 25. Come see us one night this coming week if you haven’t yet! 🌻
