Let the holiday slowdown begin! We’re taking a break from proposals, hard good orders, studio renovations, and all things business related for at least a week. A sweet and intimate backyard wedding. This beautiful couple invited 60 of their closest friends and family to join them for a ceremony and wedding at the bride’s childhood home. The said their vows on “the dock,” a wooden deck overlooking the river below. We brought in bright, bold colors for their chuppah to really pop against the dense green background. It looked so lovely, with flowers on the chuppah and on some of the surrounding trees.

Oh to be married under the trees, by the pond, at your childhood home. We absolutely loved leaning into nature on this one! Rather than bring in our own arch, we created an illusion arch using the existing tree and chiffon draping. The effect was ethereal and magical and we loved it so much!
