One of my favorite parts of wedding planning of day of coordination is getting to be part of all the behind the scenes moments.

From taking fun pics of the groomsmen or bridesmaids, to getting bts shots of the photographer, to after reception bar parties. I wanna be part of all of it.

In the adventure of planning your almost perfect and beautiful day, the connection we form is palpable, and that's what makes a great client/planner relationship.

These two really won the game at being a great couple to work with but also being so fun and diligent with their homework. From multiple states away, I think we communicated at a level that made my heart happy.

Hope you two are enjoying your day and know I appreciate you immensely. 💜

I've been wanting to post this all day because it's important to me...

But I've struggled with the words because it's so important to me.

Today is the anniversary of The Love Act of 1967

That means that less than 60 years ago... I couldn't have legally loved and married the man I did. Our love, just the mere existence of it, would've created a civil rights struggle that I can honestly say I would've never known how to fight.

I'm not trying to take away from 🏳️‍🌈 at all, I'm just trying to add to the perspective that I'm so incredibly grateful that I get to legally love and marry a person of any culture and skin color.

I want you to feel the freedom of loving anyone you want to. Without fear of a legal battle, phobias, or discrimination.

This is a reminder that I stand with you if you'll have me and I'll fight for you when you need me. You are not alone and you deserve a

Remember that the same moon rises each evening no matter what phase it's in.

You have so many things that make you and your unique that my job is making sure that get's expressed.

Through each phase you grow, learn, love deeper, and find new connections between you two.

Basically my dinning room table became my favorite place to be because I still got to create.

This season has been hard (for everyone) but being able to still express myself, my creative self, and just have fun with it has helped immensely.

This amazing candelabra came from a local thrift shop too!

Still waiting on those boss babes to show me their fall inspired tables. How about some more challenges? I want to just flood my feed with gorgeousness to appreciate so I can stop focusing on the evil, hate, and anxiety of these next few weeks.

It's fall y'all!

I have nothing but witchy wishes and orange gourd love flowing.

Some planning ideas during these covid times when maybe big gorgeous center pieces for hundreds of guests aren't an option:

Create center pieces that you would love to see at a wedding in your own home.

This gives you not only the ability to practice, but also to make really subtle changes and see how it completely transforms the vibe.

In all seriousness though, I about cried happy tears at the sound, the smell, and the relief this rain brought.

Another consultation in the books this morning and it just gets me all giddy inside to know that people are still loving love, finding ways to express that love, and continue to want me to help them with their celebrations!

Do you like having a beautiful place setting but can't fold your napkin into an origami Swan? 🦢
Giiirl neither can I!
So I use the pillow top napkin style.
It's so easy and looks fancy with minimal effort.
Additionally its quick and works with any size napkin.
Let's not forget I freaking love this gold/black/red combo for a future styled shoot!

There are so many issues that I could address tonight with the heavy heart that I have.
However, I'm going to speak to something I can say I've experienced in every aspect of my life. From work, to friends, to family, to clients I have had to explain this concept multiple times.
I hope this sheds a little bit of light and love your way and maybe even a chuckle.
That said, please be mindful that this is just one way that you can be a better ally, a better friend, and honestly just an all around more understanding human.

Happy Anniversary to these two!
Three years ago they let me be a part of their special day with no requirements except help us make memories.
That's what I got into this business for and that's what I love to do!
They had the general structure of their day and brought me in just a month before to tighten up the timeline, buff the detail edges, and make sure they hadn't forgot anything.
For the record, everyone forgets something when detailing their own wedding. That's why a planner or coordinator is your second brain!
This wedding was earthy, laid back, full of laughter, and had some dope food. 👌
Did I mention the bride was glowing!!!!
Hope you two have a great quarantine anniversary date night!

My top 9 for 2019 is a rollercoaster of fun, magic, love, and some heartbreak. .

I am forever blessed that those that have decided to follow my journey are equally excited for my personal and professional growth. .

The closing of this year brings so many new obstacles, trials, and fears for 2020, that I may need your help to remember the goodness of people and the love I have for myself and my business. .

However, I am setting myself goals, alarms, and time lines to help remind myself and any of you who follow along, that life can be full and fulfilling even without things or people you once thought you couldn't live without. .

Generosity, grace, adventure, humility, and health are my goal words for 2020!
Hold me to them, try them with me, and give me guidance. .

My hope for Prima Planning & Events is that it continues to grow into whatever I need from it. It drives my passion to create, it fuels my need for knowledge, and it satisfies my urge to serve others. .

Weather that means more weddings, more company parties, or just more creation of art, I'm ready to start a new year with new hopes and dreams that only I will either fail or succeeded at. .

It's national make a dogs day! The best way I know how to make a dogs day is to adopt them and give them a new home.
The hubs told me that wasn't an option this year lol so I'm commissioning you to make any dogs day better!
You don't have to adopt a dog, you can make your current fur baby's the best day. I'm getting my babes some big soup bones to chew on, they last for days and they go crazy for them.
