🕯️ As the university community mourns the passing of senior Mason Mascato, faculty, staff and students are invited to celebrate his life during a candlelight vigil at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 20, in the University Chapel in Doyle Hall. 🙏🏼

While at Bona’s, Mason had a lasting impact on the community, serving as a resident assistant and a member of the Arther O. Eve Higher Education Opportunity Program. An English major from the Syracuse area, Mason had studied abroad in Spain last summer.

Mason was a patient at Columbia University Medical Center awaiting a heart transplant at the time of his passing March 15. True to his character, Mason decided to become an organ donor, giving three people a new chance at life, said his sister, Victoria. For March Membership Madness, we are opening this BAH to the public! The GOACC is encouraging any new and prospective members to come and see what is happening in our business community.

For our current members, bring a new business or prospective member to enter your business to win two FREE tickets to Picnic in the Park (formerly known as the Clambake) in Lincoln Park on June 12. For every new member you refer to the Chamber this month, your business name gets entered.

Business After Hours is an engaging and fun networking event where you can visit and connect with other area businesses, public officials, and members of the community. Make sure you stop by the registration table on your way in. There will grab bags with lots of goodies as door prizes, a 50/50 raffle, and the chance to enter the drawing for the Attendance Award. At the end of our BAH season, one name will be drawn from the list of attendees, and they will win the Attendance Fund Sponsors’ jackpot. Special thanks to this month’s sponsor, Impact Internet.
