Artistic Affairs Catering Review
Couldn't have asked for better!
My husband and I had a small wedding in December and planned our reception for June in the St. Louis Area. Artistic Affairs immediately caught our attention with their images of their beautiful displays, variety of menus and great reviews. We wanted to add to that list!
Lya was great to work with as we reached out with questions and discussed options for the menu, tasting availability and service style. She was easy to communicate with over phone and email as we were planning this from Denver and Lya made sure to find a time for a tasting during our limited time in the St. Louis area prior to the event.
We decided on BBQ menu - it was perfect for our casual backyard reception that we wanted to set apart with a more upscale BBQ menu than what is typical. We were quickly sold on the chilled grilled vegetables, smoked brisket, gorgeously displayed salads and option for a Ted Drewes custard bar. We also decided on a full sized smoked pig that Todd carved on site at the end of the buffet. We had multiple guests tell us that this was some of their favorite reception food they ever had!
We also couldn't recommend their service enough. Our event started at 5 pm and at that exact time a storm came through, moving our patio cocktail hour to inside my parents house. The catering team quickly relocated the appetizers to inside the kitchen and re-setup a beautiful display of foods. They were also able to relocate the bar and dessert bar as needed because of weather. They did a great job of keeping the event cleaned up and all the staff was friendly and excited to help.
We couldn't recommend Artistic Affairs enough. The team is down to earth, easy to work with and truly talented at what they do!
Thank you Rachel & Adam! Even with all of the challenges Mother Nature gave us, it was truly a pleasure catering your event. Todd, myself and our staff thank you and your family for the kind words and look forward to working with you all in the future!
