Helpful Tip Tuesday: Have a first look! These pictures are priceless and something you will not regret! I HIGHLY suggest a first look of some sort - Whether that be with your bridal party, father, mother, grandparents, or your bride/groom to be - DO IT! 🤩🤌🏽

Helpful Tip Tuesday: Save your wedding bouquet!💐 Don’t let your beautiful flowers just get thrown in the trash at the end of the night. Designate a bridesmaid or family member to be in charge of making sure your bouquet goes home that night to preserve them. I have seen lots of really cool ideas, but Resin is my favorite! Turn your wedding bouquet into your last name initial, block, ornament, coasters, jewelry, picture stands, paperweights, ring holder, keychain, & more!

Helpful Tip Tuesday: get the reception dress! This is something I thought about for months and kept coming back to this dress week after week. I just spent so much money on my wedding dress how could I justify spending more $$ on another dress? But let me tell ya, I’m so glad I did! I was sweating in my wedding dress after the first dances and quickly changed into my reception dress to dance the night away. 💃🏽

Helpful Tip Tuesday: Private last dance 🖤 Your wedding is your special day and one to celebrate with your loved ones. You have a timeline; every hour is accounted for by the minute. It can be easy to forget to stop, take a deep breath, and really soak in this huge life changing event with your partner. I highly suggest considering having a private last dance! Have your band or DJ announce the final song, then have your guests leave to get ready for your send off. This is your opportunity to think back on your whole day and cherish that moment just between you two. 🖤

Helpful Tip Tuesday! Give your Maid/Matron of Honor your phone to get those “behind the scenes” photos and videos all day long. Especially if you are leaving for your Honeymoon right after, I promise that you will LOVE to look back on your day while you wait for your professional photos to come in! (Just make sure it’s okay with your Photographer and you don’t get in the way of their shots!) ☀️ 📷

Helpful Tip Tuesday! I’m all about saving money so… Let’s talk: Wedding favors ✨ I have been to several weddings in the past year, and there is one thing I see that they all have in common- wedding favors get forgotten! Your guests leave at different times. Some leave after dinner, halfway through, or stay until the very end. Instead, give out flip flops!🩴 Your friends and family can dance with you longer, be more comfortable, and have something to take home that they will use again! Although you may still have some left over, you can regift these, use them on vacation, or keep the tag on them and return what doesn’t get used. It’s a win-win!

TGIF! Let’s talk bridesmaid bouquets! Unless you love flowers and really want your bridesmaids to carry them, ditch the bouquet! If you are trying to stick to a budget but don’t know where to cut, this is a great option for you. Some great alternatives are: wreaths, gold or silver hoops with simple florals, dried/silk flowers, simple greens, candlesticks, and my favorite- lanterns! This is a picture from my wedding day. I had my lovely ladies carry lanterns simple greenery, LED candles, and burgundy chiffon ribbon (Matron of Honor had ivory chiffon ribbon). Each one cost me about $25!! What do you think?
