Meet Michael, our Evening Operations Manager. Michael grew up in Centerville , Illinois and has been a part of the BP team for almost four years.

Mike is known for his quiet strength and steadfast dedication. Recently promoted to lead our Evening Shift, he’s made a tremendous impact on both the operations and service teams. Anyone who crosses his path will tell you he's a prime example of our core values—especially when it comes to putting people first! His calm demeanor and strong leadership have been instrumental in helping newer team members thrive in high-stress, fast-paced environments.

One of the things we appreciate most, is his commitment to leading by example, offering guidance and support in every task, from keeping our warehouse operations running smoothly to ensuring seamless event load-ins.

We’re incredibly grateful to have such a reliable and positive leader on our team!

We are so proud to share that several of our outstanding team members were honored as Hospitality Heroes through Explore St. Louis' Hospitality Hero Recognition Program this afternoon!💙🦸

Congratulations to (pictured left to right) Laura Boyle, Taylor Robic, Carlos Alvarado Amanda Rodman, Brittany Skobel, and Stephanie Glioumas. Each of these individuals were nominated for specific incidents where they demonstrated compassion, courage, and unreasonable hospitality—from saving a guest’s life with the Heimlich maneuver, to executing the largest seated dinner in our company's history for 900 people, to going out of their way to ensure the safety of team members during challenging moments. They embody our core values of being Passionate, Poised, Positive and Putting People First by going above and beyond in their exceptional service.

Say hello to Celia, one of our incredible Service Captains! Celia is from Belleville, Illinois and recently graduated from Mississippi State University. She has been a part of the BP team for 7 years and has taken on various roles, like kitchen attendant, deliveries, service captain and "just about everything in between."

It’s hard not to get sentimental watching teammates like Celia thrive, as this was her very first job. She has an amazing work ethic and consistently brings positivity to every shift — a shining example for our team!

Meet the Team Tuesday!

Meet Brianna, our Human Resources Assistant. Brianna was born in Sedalia, MO but grew up in Eureka, MO. She was homeschooled until she dual enrolled her last two years of high school at STLCC so she could graduate high school with her Associate's degree. From there, she attended UMSL and earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology. She has been a part of the BP team for less than a year (although her last name suggests otherwise).

Brianna is behind the scenes helping our team grow, as she is the driving force behind our hiring process. She is always on the lookout for talented individuals to join our team and is dedicated to finding the best and brightest. From recruiting to onboarding, Brianna has got it covered!

Meet the Team Tuesday!

Meet Taylor, one of our Service Captains. Taylor is from Jefferson County where she attended Windsor High School. From there, she went to cosmetology school—fun fact: she still does wedding hair and makeup from time to time.

Taylor joined the BP team three years ago and quickly rose to the position of Service Captain. She’s always going the extra mile to ensure our events run smoothly, providing exceptional support to our service team whenever needed.

We also just learned that Taylor, along with several other team members, will be recognized as a 2024 Hospitality Hero at the upcoming Explore St. Louis Meeting & Awards program in September. As if we needed more reasons to celebrate her — congratulations, Taylor! Stay tuned for more highlights of our amazing team!

Meet Emily, one of our Senior Event Managers. Emily was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, but grew up in Rolla, Missouri. She attended the University of Missouri and moved to St. Louis after graduating, where she has been a part of the BP team for almost three years.

Emily started with the BP team as an event manager, quickly showcasing her exceptional organizational skills and creative flair. Her dedication and eye for detail led to her promotion to Senior Event Manager, where she now plans the logistical aspects of large events like the Saint Louis Art Fair, the recent Stanley Cup celebration for Matthew Tkachuk, and at well-known locations like MICDS and The Gateway Arch.
