I catered an event for 200+ people last night at Saint Frances Cabrini academy. I tried something new- bought a meat slicer and made my own roast beef for the sliders. They turned out great! (My mom was able to get a few pics before the hot food was out and the buffet was open)

I’ve made many pitas in the last few years- all were tasty- but FLAT. This week, while making a ridiculous amount of pita bread for orders, I finally figured out how to make the POCKET!!! Proud chef moment 👩‍🍳

I think Cahill Kitchen’s first attempt at Chinese food turned out pretty good! Egg rolls, lettuce wraps, wonton soup, kung pao chicken, fried rice and vegetable lo mein with crispy tofu. My nephew requested it and my sister in law said all the kids loved it- the best compliment I could ask for ❤️

What a fun night! A dinner party with an Italian theme- and I got to “work” with my amazing sister in law, Julie Cahill. Antipasto platter, bruschetta, fried eggplant, butternut squash ravioli with brown butter sage sauce, beef braciole/cheesy polenta cake/cacio e pepe Brussels sprouts, and tiramisu served with espresso martinis.
