Hello Loves!

It’s me, Therese. I thought I’d take a moment to share a little bit about myself today and my floral journey with Root & Relic. Follow along for some fun personal facts!🌷👋🏻

I started my company almost 5 years ago in Indianapolis, IN. In 2022, I decided to make the move to St. Louis, MO to be closer to my boyfriend and continue to grow my company - One of the best decisions I’ve ever made!
Before I was a florist, I was a professional opera singer!
I have been blessed with 3 amazing sisters and raised by strong “Little Mamas” my entire life (I’m 5’7” and almost all my girls are 5’2”- We own it!). I try to bestow as much honesty and floral wisdom with each of my clients to help them find the best solutions for their wedding visions and budgets! If you flower with me, you will always get the Royal Sister treatment.
Flowers are for everyone!
This year alone, I flowered 52 weddings 6 events and 1 styled shoot. This industry moves fast and definitely takes a toll physically. Hoping to have more wonderful people join the Root & Relic team in 2025!
Getting to create beautiful floral designs is only half the fun for me- I love getting to know my clients on a personal level too! If you book with me, chances are we’re most likely going to end up as friends.
Root & Relic was nominated as an A-List Finalist for Best Wedding Florists in St. Louis this year.🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟Thank you to ALL that took the time to vote!
Root & Relic has been voted “Best of Weddings” with The Knot 3 years in a row as well as participated in the Art in Bloom festivals in both Indianapolis and St. Louis! Such cool milestones!
I wouldn’t be where I am today without the love and support of my incredible boyfriend Lucien, all of the amazing vendors I have laughed, bled and cried with for wedding set-ups, and OF COURSE, my absolutely incredible brides! You all are the reason Root & Relic is 5 years strong and still blooming into its Prime!

Another beautiful review from dear Rosie.🥰
Sometimes we have to pivot with a floral vision in order to truly hit the mark. Seasonal availability, a bloom’s delicacy, color variations, all play factors into the decisions we make for your wedding florals. Rosie was incredible in allowing me to guide her and trust the process as she communicated what she envisioned for her flowers. I’m so glad we were able to give her the flowers of her dreams pivoting as needed but also staying true to what was important to her florally. Cheers Rosie & Brendan! Jessica’s bridal bouquet was one of my all time favorite designs 😍 I loved incorporating all of the textures, colors and details to make it both bridal, autumnal and wild. The longer I look at it, the more I find little things to admire and appreciate. Thank you for letting me create this one for you, Jessica! I love it so much!🥹🖤💐❤️🍂🌖🐦‍⬛
