 Expect drunk aunts, cake-cutting chaos, dramatic fights, and a whole lot of laughs. Oh, and don’t forget to dig deep in your closet – worst-dressed awards will be handed out, so this is your time to shine in that questionable tie or sequined disaster.

Chef Liz Schuster of Tenacious Eats is serving up your favorite St. Louis-style wedding dinner staples with creative and over the top twists that’ll have your taste buds jumping out of your seats. 🌮🍗 Pair that with an open bar featuring handcrafted cocktails designed by Raven Wienrich from Work & Leisure, and you’re in for an elevated evening of food and drink. 


💐The magic continues with gorgeous florals by Walter Knoll Florists, delectable chocolates from Bissinger’s for every guest, a photo booth and dazzling decor by Fête Booth and Eye Candy Rentals. It’s the perfect setting to toast, laugh, and dance the night away! .🍫📸

“When they’re tearing the chicken off the bone, it’s so grotesque. The munching and the crunching are so vile. I wanted the audience to be munching and crunching along with the scene,” says Elizabeth Schuster.

Schuster is the guiding force behind Tenacious Eats, which is now back after four years. The local happening humorously blends movies with food. Every month or so, she shows a movie and serves a five-course meal while it’s playing. Each course is geared toward a specific moment or scene in the movie.

Located at 3015 Locust Street in Midtown, just a few blocks east of Saint Louis University and the Fox Theatre, Brennan’s Work & Leisure started as side project from the team at Brennan’s in the Central West End neighborhood of Saint Louis, MO. Kevin Brennan, Tim O’Connor and Jordan Renaud envisioned a place where colleagues and friends could blend the lines of work and leisure.

From a conference room with visual displays to a bocce ball court, Work & Leisure offers comfortable, modern gathering spaces and private offices with all the amenities for work and play.

With more than 6,000 square feet, Work & Leisure features an eclectic public cafe, grab and go goods, a restaurant and bar, a dynamic event venue and workspace.

Though we offer memberships to our workspace, you don’t have to become a member to enjoy coffee, breakfast snacks and lunch during the day, or drinks, appetizers, and shuffleboard or bocce ball into the night. Check out our hours of operation before heading this way.
