✨Dailyn’s Wish Day✨

Earlier this year I received a call from the Make-A-Wish Foundation asking if I could help grant a wish for a local girl named Dailyn. Her wish was simple, “to have a picnic with my baby dolls.”🥰

Immediately, I said yes and began gathering the help from our favorite local vendors. From planning the party with Kelsey at Make-A-Wish to collaborating with Lauren and Rob Muckler to host the surprise at their gorgeous venue, everyone’s support was absolutely overwhelming. 🤍

Here’s how the day went:

🥳Dailyn was picked up from school in a limo and chauffeured to West Wind Hills with her family.

🎀Upon arrival she was swooped off to the bridal suite for makeup and wardrobe.

🎉After getting glammed up, she was accompanied by her family and the Make-A-Wish team down the stairs to reveal the picnic surprise.

🎂Can we talk about the ultimate party spread? A bounce house, balloons, marquee letters spelling her name, beautiful florals, a picnic full of treats including charcuterie, cookies, cake and cotton candy.

🎁An entire gift table filled with American Girl dolls, accessories and play kits.

🍗🍟And the catering? Her favorites - McDonald’s, Chick-fil-A, Chipotle, and Sugarfire BBQ.

Extra bonus to this day? It was Dailyn’s 7th birthday. 7️⃣🎉

From start to finish this party was a dream! And honestly, it felt like it was my Make-A-Wish Day too❤️

Last week, I had the honor of designing a table for Table Tops Event. Each designer was assigned a patient and a list of their favorite things.✨

Lucky for me, I got matched with Kaylee - who was the guest speaker and seated at my table.🫶📖

Kaylee is all about books like, big-time! Her favorite word is “Bibliophile”- someone who not only loves to read but also collects & cherishes books.❤️‍🔥📚
Her favorite book? Crave
Second fave book? Harry Potter
Favorite color? Sage

My table design? Obviously books - but with a blend of girly charm & that vampy romance vibe.🕯️🧛🖤

Kaylee lit up when she saw the table design & even voted us as the Patients Choice Award Winner.🥹 Her enthusiasm was contagious, and diving into conversations about her current book series and her ambitious 2024 reading goal of 24 books (she’s already halfway there!) was an absolute joy. 🥰

And those sweet hugs? 🤗 Let’s just say they melted my heart in the best possible way—I’ve lost count of how many we exchanged!
