The Sun Run presented by Cardinal Glennon is coming up on Sunday, October 15th in Forest Park, and we are still in need of volunteers to help put on this great event! The Sun Run welcomes runners and walkers of all ages to come out and enjoy beautiful Forest Park in the heart of our city. The Sun Run 5k and 1-mile walk supports the world-class pediatric health care provided every day at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital.
All volunteers will receive an event volunteer shirt. Volunteers are needed to assist with race day packet pick-up, course marshaling, water stations, and clean-up. Shift times vary depending on the position but the majority run from 7:00am to 10:30am. Special adjustments may be made for shift times, but we ask volunteers to be available for the full shift when possible.
