Less than a week away: Ricky Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder
Get you tickets today at the link below!

Fifteen-time GRAMMY® Award-winner Ricky Skaggs’ career is easily among the most significant in recent country music history. If Skaggs’ burgeoning trophy case full of awards wasn’t already enough evidence of that fact, consider that legendary guitarist Chet Atkins once credited Skaggs with “single-handedly saving country music.” His life’s path has taken him to various musical genres, from where it all began in bluegrass music, to striking out on new musical journeys, while still leaving his musical roots intact.

Brigham Dimick: Private and Collective Spaces

Brigham Dimick was born in Oak Park, Illinois in 1962 and grew up in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Since 2002, he has served on the faculty in the department of Art and Design at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE).

As a teenager, he studied at a privately run atelier, where he developed a portfolio that garnered a four-year scholarship at Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia. The diversity of those two educational experiences was instrumental in his development. The atelier focused on traditional techniques within a rigorous adherence to the painter’s secret geometry. In contrast, art school emphasized experimentation, theory, and the challenging of traditional conventions. The diversity of these two educational philosophies has served as a catalyst for a life-long goal to synthesize inherited traditions and new methodologies.

Before going to Indiana University for an MFA in painting, Brigham spent four years hitchhiking across the country, living in northern California, traveling in Mexico,

Kendra Ward: There is No Home

Kendra Ward (b. 1992 Dallas) is a photographer and educator with a BFA from Syracuse University and a MFA from UIUC’s Studio Art Department. Kendra’s work has been exhibited internationally and was most recently included in PHmuseum’s annual photography festival in Bologna, Italy, and The Holland Project’s exhibition of Cinematic Photographs. Kendra’s photography practice utilizes everyday and fantastical imagery to explore themes of domesticity, identity, and the fragility of perception. Her current body of work examines the ways in which we grapple with the unknown and unseen through the lens of narrative depictions of haunted houses. She has previously worked as a freelance photo editor, editing images for publications such as The New Yorker, Vogue, and The Washington Post, and as a Printmaker at Light Work, a nonprofit photography organization in Syracuse, NY. She is currently a Teaching Assistant Professor in Photography at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Get your tickets now for this amazing concert on Saturday, March 8!
We're excited to welcome Drew and Ellie Holcomb to take the stage at The Sheldon.

There are no strangers at a Drew Holcomb and the Neighbors show. For the better part of two decades, the award-winning songwriter has brought his audience together night after night, turning his shows into celebrations of community, collaboration, and contemporary American roots music. Strangers No More, the eighth album from Drew Holcomb & The Neighbors, celebrates that sense of togetherness synthesized in the #1 Americana Song, “Find Your People.”

Following her 8-year sting as a member of her husband’s band, Ellie Holcomb’s solo debut, As Sure As The Sun, landed her a Top 10 hit and a GMA Dove Award for “New Artist of the Year.” In 2021, she released her third full-length solo project, CANYON, to much acclaim, earning her a second Top 10 radio single with the song, “I Will Carry You.” The 4x Dove Award winner is also a best-selling author, having written three children’s books and a devotional selling a combined 500,000 copies.

Together, the Holcombs have amassed over 1 billion combined streams, have toured with the likes of Willie Nelson and Lauren Daigle, and have been featured on dozens of TV shows.

The Memory Bank Tour is in support of their first-ever full-length duo record. An Evening with Drew and Ellie Holcomb is a special engagement event, allowing the Holcombs to collaborate once again.
