On May 18, 1979 we opened our doors and welcomed the first guests to the Royale Orleans. After nearly a year of extensive renovations to the old Cooks grocery store, we hosted a beautiful wedding reception (and, no joke, they were laying carpet about 4 hours before the reception started! 😅)Since then we have hosted thousands of events and made even more friends along the way. It’s been a pleasure serving South St Louis and beyond and we are looking forward to the next 44!
