We booked LiUNA for our recent wedding reception and oh my goodness this place is absolutely amazing! When we first looked into LiUNA, Nancy assisted with getting us booked for our first tasting to check it out. My new husband and I knew right away we wanted to book LiUNA for the reception because the tasting was setup beautifully, the food was delicious and all the staff were so kind, friendly and knowledgeable. Nancy was so helpful with any questions we had and getting the process started to officially get our reception date booked and continued helping with anything we needed after! So now fast forwarding to the weeks before and the actual wedding day, MOLLY WAS AN ABSOLUTE GODSEND! She helped us with getting the timeline setup for our big day, answered my many questions, and even let me bring all the reception items over days before the wedding so I wouldn’t have to stress about it the day of or before my wedding. Once we got to the reception Molly ensured everything was taken from the bus for us and put into a back room so we wouldn’t have to worry about it. She even went as far as to help me with my unruly hair in the bathroom!!! I could go on and on about how amazing everything was, but I probably don’t have enough character space to do so! To anyone contemplating whether to book LiUNA or not, absolutely do it! You will not regret it!!! P.S. you should also request Bob as your bartender, he was THE BEST!

Kayce and Dan had a small, private ceremony in 2020. What better way to celebrate your one year anniversary than with all your favorite people in one place?! This bride had a specific vision in mind when it came to her decor. She designed her own monogram, table settings, and brought in her own specialty linens to really bring her dream to life!

Alexis wasn’t your typical bride, as she herself works in the wedding industry as a makeup artist! Talk about looking like a queen on your wedding day!! This gorgeous bride had special way she wanted to decorate our space for her day. The room was complete with a GORGEOUS photo op, customized with the newlyweds last name. She provided her own backdrop behind the head table, centerpieces, & signage throughout the room.

Alexis & Scott took a whole new meaning to the phrase “game of life” when they opted to have a Jenga set for their guests to sign to create their special “guestbook”. They also had provide a delicious ice cream cake for dessert.

These college sweethearts fell in love at SIUE and made their marriage official with a reception to remember! Michelle and Ryan aren’t just college sweethearts, they’re also dog parents to two adorable little fur balls (Maximus & Harvey); they made sure to include them throughout the reception with bar signs & table decor to welcome guests.

This was another vendor studded event with providing a beautiful cake & filling the dance floor all night to shake off all that food! The centerpieces were provided by the bride with hand carved wooden circles, eucalyptus garland & candle light throughout the space.

Theresa & Joshua utilized our space to their advantage! They had an intimate ceremony in our Manor Room, surrounded by their family and friends. The officiant (friend of the couple) had the honor of presiding over his best friends’ marriage and seeing them begin their new chapter of life and husband and wife.

This was an “all hands” on deck when it came to vendors! provided the delicious wedding cake & striking groom’s cake; provided beautiful alter pieces and centerpieces throughout the room. And our house DJ, Brock with was a triple threat with providing not only music but a selfie station and videography for Theresa and Joshua!

Colleen & Brett got married in 2020 on New Years Eve with their family and friends surrounding them. They had a small celebration to ring in the new year but still wanted to have a celebration with everybody who couldn’t attend.

LiUNA transformed the room into the reception of their dreams! Although they weren’t celebrating on NYE again, the bride and groom still wanted to portray that theme throughout the space. Florals were provided by , dance floor and chairs from , up lighting & pinspots provided by …all of our vendors worked together to make the dream a reality.

In keeping with the NYE theme, Colleen and Brett still wanted to have a count down at their reception & the way they included it into their reception was magical. Colleen & Brett wanted to reveal the gender of their baby with their guests. Nobody knew this was going to happen…and on the count of 3, all their guests were showered with BLUE confetti to show off that they were going to welcome a baby boy into their families. 👶🏼

This couple was so fun to coordinate their reception for; Lauren had a special vision to celebrate the big day with family and friends. These college sweethearts made the wedding planning process to much fun; you could definitely tell that they were excited to spend forever together. Like most couples, Kyle & Sarah waited until 2021 to have their wedding reception with us but it did not disappoint!

Sarah & Kyle knew that for their reception, they wanted people to celebrate their love but also dance the night away on the dance floor. They had one of the more unique entrances for a wedding, when they held a contest for their wedding party to have the best entrance. The guests are the reception then voted per applause at who had the best entrance….of course, Razor scooters took home the win! 😉 It definitely set the tone for the rest of the night, that they were ready to party!

Mikala & Joseph got married on August 30 of 2020 in a small ceremony with their families but still wanted to celebrate the magic of their marriage with everybody. This fun couple are kids at heart when it comes to their love of Disney & they fulfilled that throughout their reception! From Mickey & Minnie cookies to their favorite movies coming to life as centerpieces.

You could feel the love that night through out the entire space with every one dancing the night away on the dance floor. Mikala had transformed the ballroom into her own Disney play land. In the words of Peter Pan, “all you need is faith, trust & a little pixie dust” for a dream to become a reality.

They counted the days til they were able to celebrate with everyone at LiUNA & it was everything they wanted! They had a vision of how they wanted the room to be set up; they opted to have the head table front and center against our wooden walls & the dance floor right in the middle.

LiUNA Event Center-Banquet Servers NEEDED

Looking for RELIABLE, HARD WORKING, banquet severs. Wedding season is approaching and we are in need of additional servers.
Servers are responsible for providing consistent excellent service to guests/clients of the banquet facilities and efficient delivery of food and beverages to guests in a professional, hospitable manner to enhance the guest experience. This employee will be required to set up and breakdown banquet events.

Job Duties:
-Performing pre & post shift side work
-Follow BEOs for room set up/take down
-Clear tables properly
-Setting the buffet/dessert bar stations

Job Requirements:
-Must be over 16
-Must be able to lift over 50lbs
-Must be available weekends & the occasional weeknights
-Ability to communicate satisfactorily with guests, management and coworkers
-Hep-A vaccination is required prior to beginning employment
-Knowledge of cleaning techniques, requirements and use of equipment in food & beverage
