The Magic Chef Mansion will be open for self guided tours on Saturday August 3, 2024 from 2-5 pm. We are located at 3400 Russell St Louis, MO. This mansion was designed by architect Ernst Janssen for Charles Stockstrom, who was the founder of the American Stove Company - later known as The Magic Chef Stove Company. It was built in 1908 for $49,500.00. This privately owned home is furnished in period antiques, original lighting and working vintage appliances. The basement houses the Brunswick bowling alley and a saloon.
Adults-$20.00 Kids 6-12 $10.00 Kids under 6 are free.

The Magic Chef Mansion will be open for a self-guided SERVANT TOUR on Saturday November 4, 2023 from 2 to 5 pm.
We are located at 3400 Russell St Louis, MO 63104.
This mansion was built in 1908 for Charles Stockstrom who founded the Magic Chef Stove Company.
Charles and his wife Hedwig along with their 4 children, occupied the residence with several servants from 1908 to 1990.
This self-guided tour is of the first floor, partial second floor, 3rd floor and ground floor and second floor of the carriage house.
The restored mansion is furnished in period antiques, original lighting, working antique appliances including the coal burning clothes dryer and a 1935 Magic Chef stove. Also on tour is a 1927 dollhouse that was original to the family.
Adults $25.00, kids 6-12 $10.00, kids under 6 are free.
We take credit cards or cash at the front door day of tour.

Salinas Tuckpointing is wonderful!!! They ground out the joints in 2 chimneys, fully tuck pointed them and spot tuck pointed the carriage house. Perfect work and perfect color match. We are located at 3400 Russell St. Louis, MO 63104.
This self-guided tour is of the ground floor of the carriage house where the original 1908 coal-burning clothes dryer is still in place.
You can also tour the second floor servants quarters in the carriage house. The mansion’s kitchen and butlers pantry, second floor sewing room and 3rd floor servant’s quarters are part of this tour. The Stockstrom’s 1927 electrified doll house is on display on the third floor.
