The Magic Chef Mansion will be open for self guided Christmas tours on Saturday December 7, 2024 from 4 to 7 pm. We are located at 3400 Russell St. Louis, MO 63104. This mansion was designed by architect Ernst Janssen for Charles Stockstrom who was the founder of the Magic Chef Stove Company. It was built in 1908 for the cost of $49,500 and took about 1 year to build. The cost of the new red slate roof has exceeded the cost to build the mansion. Hopefully, Santa and his reindeer will enjoy landing on the new roof! This home is furnished in period antiques, original lighting and working vintage appliances. The basement houses the bowling alley and saloon.
Adults - $25.00. Kids 6-12 - $10.00. Kids under 6 are free.

The Magic Chef Mansion will be open on Saturday November 2, 2024 from 2-5 pm for self guided tours. This Servant Tour features the first floor, the 3rd floor and the carriage house-all of the areas that the servants occupied. The mansion was built in 1908 for Charles Stockstrom who was the founder of the Magic Chef Stove Company. It cost $49,500 and took about 1 year to build. This home is furnished in period antiques, original lighting and working vintage appliances. On display is the 1927 original dollhouse on the 3rd floor.
Adults $25.00. Kids 6-12 $10.00. Kids under 6 are free.

The Magic Chef Mansion will be open on Saturday October 5th, 2024 from 2-5 pm for self guided tours. We are located at 3400 Russell St Louis, MO 63104. This mansion was designed by architect Ernst Janssen in 1908 for Charles Stockstrom and his family and is on the National Register of Historic Places. At the turn of the century, Charles founded the American Stove Company which was later known as the Magic Chef Stove Company. It was built in 1908 for the sum of $49,500 and took about 1 year to complete. This restored private residence is furnished in period antiques , original lighting, working vintage appliances and skeletons to greet you. It is after all-Halloween month! The basement houses the 1908 bowling alley, saloon and torcher chamber.

This mansion is on the National Register of Historic Places and was designed by architect Ernst Janssen. It cost $49,500.00 to build in 1908 for the original owner Charles Stockstrom who was the founder of the Magic Chef Stove Company. The mansion is furnished in period antiques, original lighting and working vintage appliances. The basement houses the bowling alley, game room and saloon.

The Magic Chef Mansion will be open Saturday September 1, 2018 for self-guided tours from 2 pm to 5 pm. Located at 3400 Russell Blvd, St Louis, MO 63104 - this historic 1908 mansion was built for C.A. Stockstrom who was the founder of The Magic Chef Stove Company. It was built in only 1 year and restored in 28 years. Situated on 2 acres, the home is furnished with period antiques and original lighting. Come see the single lane bowling alley, prohibition era Speakeasy and a 1935 6 burner Magic Chef Stove. Adults $15, kids 6-12 $8 kids under 6 free.

Parking on Russell is free. On the National Register of Historic Places.
