After postponements, we were really SHUCKING ready to party. 😵‍💫 😉
We hit up our fave small biz in Ladue for these custom embroidered linen napkins which were a surprise for D&C at the Raw Bar.

We also repurposed some shells as salt cellars at the dinner table.

Any oyster lovers out there? How do you like yours?

For D&C we knew that a regular guestbook experience just didn’t make sense for this couple. marked the bottles by anniversary milestones so guests could sign their names.

This way, you can marvel as you celebrate each year reminded of the people that celebrated with you, cheering you on. 🥂(you know we can’t resist a pun🤣)

It exists in all forms, even extending beyond that of romantic relationships. It manifests between Black friends, family, and strangers. It’s a connection that is vast, healthy and supportive.

The best part? You dont need to be Black to appreciate its beautiful significance. 🤌🏾✨

Beyoncé’s praise of HBCUs (Historically Black Colleges and Universities) in “Homecoming” is a powerful affirmation of their continued value and a salute to Black Excellence.

While Beyonce celebrates the distinct sounds and cultural aspects of these institutions for her performance, it’s important to note that they are so much more than marching bands and Greek-Letter Organizations. These institutions were founded in an era when Black students had no other college options.

We appreciate that Black American culture, has been preserved and nurtured at HBCUs for centuries and are elated to celebrate these two BRILLIANT minds of THEEEEEEE Tuskegee University soon. ❤️ 💛

Happy 314 day! If you’re not from STL, you just wouldn’t understand the pride to celebrate this date that represents our area code. If you’ve ever experienced the traffic jam riiiiiiiight before you get to the zoo, that every order at the Chop Suey restaurant is 10 minutes to prepare, and that you can pretty much go 70mph until you’re in the county. 🤣😇 That if it’s a Saturday in the spring and fall, you’ll likely see a parade of couples hopping off a partybus to take pictures in front of the fountains at Art Hill. Or if you plan your routes according to Blues and Cards game days, you may just be a local.

There’s a reason why 90% of our clients ask their guests to “Meet us in St. Louis” when they can easily go somewhere tropical, somewhere that doesn’t take 25 minutes to get everywhere or somewhere with lush rolling hills instead of cobbelestone streets and confusing highways.

There is tremendous beauty in STL. The people, the culture and the food.

Maybe if you get the chance to visit as a guest, we can show you how the middle of the map masters southern hospitality and cosmopolitan style.

So to sum up our love for the Lou, we’re sharing this bride, a NC transplant who loved this gorgeous city so much, she swapped her Mischkas for Nike Air Force Ones to represent.

You just wouldn’t understand. ❤️

For the couples out there holding their breath for spring weddings, decompress and put some pen to paper. We recommend to use this time to jot out those vows and tell the world why even after being inside for a whole year, they’re STILL your person. Share why you give them your tomatoes and take their red onions on your salad, why you keep them alive even when they don’t replace the liner when they take out the trash (🙃) and why you smile a little bit when you see their car in their parking spot.

Write it out, keep the inside jokes to a minimum and keep it heartfelt.
