Silly Jilly the Balloon Artist and Clown

Silly Jilly the Balloon Artist and Clown Invite Silly Jilly for
πŸͺ„ a magic show full of belly laughs,
🎈 quick, impressive balloon sculptures,
🀣 and hilarious meet-and-greet.

Silly Jilly's fee for a magic show and/or meet-and-greet (with no balloons or just one for the guest of honor) is $185 for the first 45 minutes and $25 additional 15 minutes. Balloon twisting is $10 more per 15 minutes. Pricing is for events within 40 minutes from Webster Groves. Other STL-metro locations are usually $20 more. Events located approximately 100 miles from St. Louis are roughly $150

more on weekends and $100 more on weekdays, with an hour and a half minimum for parties 100 miles away. Silly Jilly started performing magic professionally after taking a clown class 29 years ago. She enjoys performing magic at birthday parties, schools, and festivals. Her favorite part is getting kids to laugh hysterically. Her balloon art is amazing, but she only does it at events where you're expecting 40 kids or less per hour she is there due to her hand arthritis.

Silly Jilly will be unavailable for gigs through March 4.
If your event is before then, I recommend contacting Spunkybeans the Balloon Artist, or messaging me for recommendations on other talented children's entertainers.
Over the next month and a half, I'll be attending a balloon convention in Atlanta and taking two mother-daughter trips. (My husband Ron and I will be apart for three weeks, but there is time in between, and I feel lucky to be the one out having fun while Ron stays home.)
I'm recovering from a shoulder injury and currently wearing a sling. I'll fulfill the gigs I already booked, but I will not be accepting new bookings until I’m out of the sling.

My fun husband, Ron, was a great sport about letting me turn him into a butterfly at our block party! πŸ¦‹πŸ’•

Update to My Update: My doctor called and said I WILL NOT NEED SURGERY. I wear the sling until February 6.
----------------------
Update: I likely won't need surgery. I'll find out at my doctor's appointment in two weeks.
I highly recommend MU Health Care's video visits. I read my MRI results to Nurse Practitioner Bryan Bauer, who explained the medical terminology. He says using a sling for immobilization is probably all my shoulder needs.

----------------------
Look who slipped on the ice and dislocated her shoulder! πŸ€• I'll be wearing this sling for at least four weeks to keep my elbow snug by my side to limit shoulder movement. Today, I'll hear from my doctor after she reviews my MRI results to see if surgery is necessary. If it is, I'm hoping to get scheduled this week so I can return to entertaining kids as soon as possible!
Although I can still make balloon animals with my limited movement, the balloon pinching causes some pain. I'll have a fill-in at Syberg's for the next six Tuesdays (some of those already planned due to a balloon convention), and I'll be skipping this month at Pediatric Dentistry of Sunset Hills, Wentzville & Arnold. I plan on still doing smaller events that are already scheduled.
A huge thank you to SSM Health - St. Louis Orthopedics for getting me a next-day appointment for my shoulder! This is the same fantastic office that helped me through my wrist surgery. I really appreciated Dr. Sandu back then, and now I'm in excellent hands with her colleague, Dr. Passanise.
I am also grateful for the treatment I receive at Rock Hill Total Access Urgent Care.

πŸŽ‰ No balloon animals at Syberg's on New Year's Eve! 🎈 I'll be back on Tuesday, January 7, ready to twist up some fun.
In the past, when my regular balloon night fell on New Year's Eve, families forgot it was balloon night. Once, I had parents calling their babysitter to ask what balloons their kids wanted!

I couldn't stop laughing when this boy pretended his candy cane balloon was a walking cane and did an impression of an old man, asking, "Where’s my keys?" It cracked me up even more because I sometimes catch myself saying the same thing!

The early childhood department invited Silly Jilly to bring some laughs to their carnival-themed booth. The students enjoyed receiving goodies at all the booths, and adding a clown 🀑 was a smart addition to the Saint Louis Public Schools Central Office event.

The amazing team at Pediatric Dentistry of Sunset Hills knows how to make Halloween extra special! πŸ•ΈοΈ Luigi was jumping for joy when I made a Bob-omb balloon πŸ’£ and had fun tossing it back and forth with some of the patients. One of the few staff members without a costume was thrilled to get a spider headband πŸ•·οΈ that she wore proudly all day!πŸŽˆπŸ‘»
