Silly Jilly's fee for a magic show and/or meet-and-greet (with no balloons or just one for the guest of honor) is $185 for the first 45 minutes and $25 additional 15 minutes. Balloon twisting is $10 more per 15 minutes. Pricing is for events within 40 minutes from Webster Groves. Other STL-metro locations are usually $20 more. Events located approximately 100 miles from St. Louis are roughly $150

more on weekends and $100 more on weekdays, with an hour and a half minimum for parties 100 miles away. Silly Jilly started performing magic professionally after taking a clown class 29 years ago. She enjoys performing magic at birthday parties, schools, and festivals. Her favorite part is getting kids to laugh hysterically. Her balloon art is amazing, but she only does it at events where you're expecting 40 kids or less per hour she is there due to her hand arthritis.

What a wonderful time I had at Cedarhurst of Highland! The residents really enjoyed receiving balloons and watching Silly Jilly the Clown.

If you know a senior living community looking for fun entertainment, let them know Silly Jilly the Clown is ready to bring joy! Yesterday, I made interesting balloon hats, bracelets, and animals for 27 residents, 5 staff members, and one 3-year-old! I brought along six pre-made sculptures to speed up the fun. The one-hour duration was just right, and my usual fee is $250 for the first hour.

New Service for Events With Hundreds of Kids: Four Simple Choices and Enough Time for Silly Gags

I've recently been focusing less on balloon making and more on performing magic tricks and incorporating humor into my performances due to balloon twisting aggravating my hand arthritis. For the past almost two years, I've limited my balloon twisting to events with fewer than 45 kids per hour I am there. This gives me time to talk and joke with the kids, yet I still get lots of compliments on my balloons, which average two balloons per balloon animal. (Up until years ago, at large events, I would make 60 balloons per hour with an average of two balloons per sculpture and no jokes.)
Now, I'm experimenting with a new balloon option for events with hundreds of kids, where they choose from just four options: a dog bracelet, a sword, a heart, or a hat. This allows me enough time to entertain with jokes and funny mishaps, like accidentally putting a balloon diaper on my head, thinking it's a princess crown. With this new approach, I can create over 80 balloon animals per hour (less than I have the ability to do), and due to my short line, I don't feel rushed.
When I get compliments like, "My daughter can't stop talking about you," that's when I have done silly gags.

Hello Cahokia and Centerville Families,

Join the fun this Saturday! Silly Jilly the Clown will be at the Back-2-School Festival, from 10 to 2:00, making balloon dogs and swords.

This will be an experiment of my first time giving kids just two choices of my quickest balloon sculptures. My theory is there will be almost no waiting in line, and kids can walk up and get a balloon quickly, and I'll have plenty of time to talk and joke with the kids and pose for photos. During a fifteen-minute period, I plan to count how many sculptures I make. I'm hoping to make about twice as many sculptures as I can when I use two balloons for most sculptures, so hopefully around thirty every fifteen minutes for only making one-balloon dogs and swords. We'll see.

It was wonderful to be back at Serendipity Homemade Ice Cream for National Ice Cream Day! Before the pandemic, I used to create balloon animals at their old location on summer Mondays. Yesterday, I was happy to see at least three families who were regulars from those days. Here's a special then-and-now moment with a girl I made a My Little Pony for in 2018 and an axolotl yesterday, and her fun dad still loving balloon hats.

This custom-made hilarious whoopee cushion is usually my magic show finale. Kids often say their favorite part of the show is sitting on the giant whoopee cushion, and they have creative names for it, like "fart pillow." It inflates in 45 seconds with a hairdryer.

Yesterday at Syberg's, I had the pleasure of meeting my new buddy Max and his mom. Over the past few months, Max and I have been messaging each other. Max loves clowns and dreams of becoming one. I gave Max some professional clown costumes, wigs, and hats passed down to me by a retired clown. Max and his mom were so excited about the box of clown gear. Silly Jilly's New Clown Car

What do you think of Silly Jilly the Clown's new car? She loved the bright red, and there's even a cute emoji 🚗 that looks just like her old car. But she bought a white one because she was lucky to find a Fiat 500 with such low miles (15,000). Fiat stopped making cars in North America in 2019. #ClownCar

I visited my fan from Lake Charles, Louisiana. He could wait to sit on my whoopee cushion, reminding me, "Are you going to bring your giant whoopee cushion?"

"My kids won't stop talking about you!" was the text with this video from Pediatric Dentistry today. At Syberg's and Pediatric Dentistry, I switched from fancy balloons to simple balloons with gags. Because of the gags, for example, spring snakes that won't stay in the container, I get compliments like, "My kids won't stop talking about you!" An example of a simpler balloon is instead of the Spiderman with arms and legs I used to make at Pediatric Dentistry and Syberg's, I switched to the pictured Spiderman wand.

Kids think it's hilarious when Silly Jilly mistakes a banana for a phone.
