Join Our Team: Food Prep/Cook $17+ per hour

Reliable and trustworthy cook needed for an Italian food trailer in downtown Austin. Salary range based on experience.

The Cook/Food Prep's responsibilities include:

-Cooking our regional pastas and sauces
-Prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meats, cheeses and other foods.
-Simple management of ipads for customer orders and deliveries
-Set up workstations and ingredients so that food can be prepared according to recipes.
-Undertake basic cooking duties such as reducing sauces and parboiling food.
-Prepare simple dishes such as appetizers and pastas.
-Refill and prep salad bar station.
-Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by cleaning work station and sanitizing surfaces.
-Helping other staff with unloading food items from delivery trucks, and washing and drying the utensils, dishes, and cookware.
-Perform other kitchen duties as assigned.

Skills

· Team player who is willing to jump in and help

· Punctual, proactive, trustworthy and reliable

· cooking experience
· Basic technology skills
