Constitution State Dancesport Championships! A late post but a necessary one with all the success of everyone who attended. We had champions in all categories and divisions. Congrats to Lena Connor, Miharu Gill, Robin Kencel, Leslie Pelecovich, Robin Redniss, Becky Ruegger, Nadine Soderberg, Jenn Sylvia, Isabel Tartaglia, Barbara Thistle and Diane Wooters. All champions!! Speaking of Champions, congrats to Giovanni and Nicole for winning the Rising Start Pro Latin. Great job Giovanni, Dima, and Anton with all the ladies!!

Congratulations to Barbara Thistle for placing 4th in the National Gold Inernational Ballroom competition! Another highly contested field with a great result! Congrats to Anton as well for his dedication to preparedness and presenting her so well.

MetDance at the U. S. Nationals! USDC!!
Results so far….we have 2 new National Champions at MetDance…congrats to Shaula Fantauzzi (with Giovanni) winning the National Silver Latin title in Ladies C and to Elisa Corcoran ( with Dima) for winning the National Gold Latin title in Ladies B. In addition Elisa also captured the bronze medal in the Silver Latin Ladies B. More congratulations to Robin Kencel (with Dima) who captured the Bronze medal in the Open American Smooth. All fields were highly contested-a great accomplishment for all. Great week so far for MetDance with more to come! Congrats to the ladies and to Giovanni and Dima for their efforts in preparing and presenting the ladies so well!

Fun Time at our MetDance Team Match!!!
Our Winning Team was Team Anton representing the roaring 20's!
A close second was Team Giovanni representing the psychedelic 60's with a very tight 3rd place to Team Dima representing the swinging 50's. In 4th position by tenths of a point was Team Nicole & Alesia representing the disco 70's.
Thanks to Eulia Baranovsky Neal and Eddie Simon for judging the event. Thanks to all who came to support and cheer. It was a great night!!!

Elisa won her championship, scholarship and the Best of the Best dance off in the Latin division. Robin also won her championship, scholarship and Best of the Best dance off in the American smooth division!
