Meet Francine Southerland, our friend and Yoga Instructor for our retreat July 19-21
After practicing yoga for a while, Francine knew this practice could be life changing and she wanted to bring this practice to Danville.
Eventually she enrolled in the teacher training course at Yoga East. After an in depth course of study, practice, internship, and leading classes, she graduated from the 2014 Teacher Training class. Since her journey with this practice began, she has led over 2000 classes. Yoga has become a big part of her life. She believes the adaptability of yoga makes it of benefit for everyone.
Francine’s studies include Ashtanga, Iyengar, Yin, Hatha, Gentle Yoga, and Vinyasa. Recently, Francine completed pelvic floor teacher training and is currently working on her 500 hour yoga teacher training.
Francine draws inspiration from all her teachers, ongoing education, and research. She believes everyone deserves the mind-body experience of yoga through classes that are energizing, empowering, fun, challenging, yet accessible to all levels. She brings her passion for yoga to her students and continuing her education on and off the mat.
When not teaching, researching, or practicing yoga, you can find her with her family, enjoying the outdoors, good food, and great conversation.

Every other week, on Wednesday evening, we invite you to join us for dinner somewhere on the farm. Different nights, different themes, possibly different location to enjoy all the farm. Dinners will range from $25 to $45 per person depending on the menu and the location.

This will be our grand opening night for the summer in the pavilion and we want you to be here. We are starting with a reduced price of $15.00 per person for our simple but yummy BBQ buffet, so invite your friends and come join us.

When you are relatively new to a property, you inherit the gardening of the previous owners. It's both a blessing and a curse.
The blessing is that when spring rolls around you find all kinds of plants to move around and add your personal touch.
These hosts were in the wrong place out in the full sun, so we dug, split, and moved to a shady spot next to the porch and pergola.
When these fill out, it'll make for a beautiful location for some stunning photos.
When the pergola is painted, the untamed wisteria appears again, this pergola spot will be divine.
