Our own talented artisan Cindy paints our neighborhoods sign a different theme for every season which always brings smiles to the neighbors. I too wanted to bring smiles to the neighbors by adding a touch of sweetness with balloons. Merry Christmas.

I was setting up this morning at the Star Riverhouse just as the sun magically cast an amazing hue of colors in the sky. Two minutes later it was officially "good morning" Star!

Come on over and spend an incredible day at the Art by the River

HomeTown USA. I love Star... The parade was just the beginning. Lots of activities planned out for you and the family all day & night long.

I had a blast in the parade. I gave a bubble machine to my grandson and his buddy. They had a blast and the crowd and the kiddos couldn't get enough of the bubbles. Bubbles Bubbles everywhere.

A Celebration! The Star Food Bank volunteers give of themselves to help those in need…helping over 20,000 people last year alone.

It was time to recognize the volunteers so that is what we did.

Our team combined celebration, patriotic and a picnic theme to set the
tone for evening. And what a fun evening it was!!

And a large THANK YOU to all the local businesses who donated gifts to recognize the volunteers at the Star Food Bank.

It was a perfect night!!!!

Yesterday's event at the Riverhouse in Star was perfect in every way to celebrate Spring and the new branding of the Star Food Bank.

SWIDBA and the Star Food Bank brought the community together with music, food, vendors and a fun photo op (you guessed it, the rainbow as the backdrop) and more.

When you think of Spring, you think flowers, right?? Right!! I tried my hand at making a floral centerpiece with silk flowers for the buffet area. I'm pretty excited how it turned out if I say so my self.
