We started our business with the mission of improving the overall quality of food services available to the Penn State Greek Community. As an undergraduate member of Phi Kappa Psi, Matt learned the many ups and downs of the fraternity food scene. Samantha and Matt both studied Hotel, Restaurant, and Institu

tional Management here at Penn State University and have taken that knowledge, along with years of Restaurant Management experience, and created Happy Valley Home Cookin'. We specialize in providing full time Chefs and local on-site management for Penn State Fraternities and are just getting ready to introduce our on-site catering and BBQ services - Coming Soon!

Start a new career with a better lifestyle this fall as a Fraternity Chef! You will have the opportunity to work in a rewarding environment where you can spend your days (no nights or weekends) creating delicious meals for the members of our customer organizations. This is a self-managing position with local on-site manager support.

Chefs work 9:30am - 5:30pm Monday through Friday (plus a few possible hours of overtime for those with reliable transportation) for the academic school year at Penn State and are full W-2 employees with unemployment benefits for the summer months. In addition, everyone gets two weeks paid vacation during their first year of employment.

We pay better than any restaurant or catering business in the area and provide a different, more rewarding work experience than all those hours stuck in kitchens while your friends and family are out enjoying life!
