Love was in the air as McKenzie and Jake celebrated their wedding day at the picturesque Rolling Rails Lodge. Surrounded by the serene beauty of nature and the warm embrace of loved ones, their special day unfolded into a perfect blend of elegance and joy.

From the moment guests arrived, there were bursting smiles and heartfelt embraces. Friends and family gathered under the clear blue sky, eagerly awaiting their union. Adding to the festivities was the furry guest of honor, Mackey, who wagged his tail in excitement, embodying the love and happiness that filled the air. McKenzie, radiant in a timeless gown adorned with delicate lace, walked down the aisle with grace. Jake, beaming with pride and anticipation, awaited her at the altar. The ceremony was a heartfelt exchange of vows, punctuated by laughter, happy tears, and heartfelt promises. Surrounded by their closest friends and family, McKenzie and Jake pledged their love and commitment to each other.

The day's aesthetic was a beautiful fusion of classic elegance with modern touches of black and white, complemented by soft greenery accents. The venue itself was a stunning backdrop, overflowing with lush greens and natural beauty, enhancing the romantic atmosphere of the celebration. As the sun began to set, casting a golden glow over the lodge, guests moved to the reception area, where tables were adorned with chic pops of black and white and fresh greenery centerpieces. Our favorite part of the reception was the bacon bar featuring various flavors the groom requested. Each detail spoke of the couple's refined taste and desire for a celebration reflecting their love story.

Toasts were raised, celebrating McKenzie and Jake's journey together and looking forward to the adventures that awaited them. After dinner, the dance floor was packed with friends and family, ready to dance the night away.

Their wedding day was truly a testament to their love story—a day filled with bursting smiles, cherished moments with friends and family, and the beauty of love celebrated in its purest form.

Thank you to the amazing vendor team that helped make this day possible.

It’s all about customization. The bride’s cousin gifted her a painting of their wedding venue, which we utilized throughout their wedding day. Designing custom pieces for our clients is one of our favorite parts of the design process. From invitations to signage and the small details in between, our goal is to make their wedding day one-of-a-kind and truly personal.

Nestled in the heart of Boalsburg, Jess and Bill celebrated their love, surrounded by the serene beauty of nature and the warmth of their cherished family and friends. Their wedding day, held at the historic Columbus Chapel, was a testament to their unique love story and their shared passion for life and music.

Underneath the sprawling branches of a century-old tree, Jess and Bill exchanged heartfelt vows, their love echoing amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the soft hues of green that adorned the natural setting. Surrounded by loved ones, their ceremony was a beautiful blend of tradition and personal touches. Of course, with the Groom being in a band, the best man played them down the aisle.

Throughout the day, shades of green painted the scene, from the lush foliage that framed the chapel to the delicate touches in the floral arrangements and décor. The Bride's cousin created a custom painting of the venue that adorned each invitation, table number, and menu card throughout the reception. Each detail of their day was perfectly curated.

As the sun began to set, casting a golden glow over the celebration, Bill, a talented musician, took center stage to close out the dance floor alongside his band and father. The dance floor came alive with laughter and rhythm as an array of musicians, all friends of the couple, took the stage—a testament to the couple's shared love of music and the joyous spirit that marked their union.

Jess and Bill's wedding was not just a celebration of their love but a testament to the beauty of simplicity, the power of nature, and the joy found in music and community.

'It's not about smiling for the camera - it's about smiling because you've found the love of your life.'

There's no quote more fitting to describe Jackie. Her smile is one of those that is just so genuine and contagious that it spreads to everyone around her. From start to finish, this smile never left her face. From wedding crashers and cookie thieves (don't come at us high schoolers; we will chase you all day to protect our clients and our weddings) to the last song, these two had the absolute best day.

Jackie and Cody exchanged vows on the croquet lawn at Toftrees on one of the clearest July days we've ever seen. There wasn't a single cloud in sight, fitting as blue was one of the bride's colors. When designing their reception space, the couple asked us for one thing: "Don't give us the standard boring wedding linens," and we were happy to oblige! Our favorite Cambridge Sky linen perfectly fit the couple's color palette and desire for a unique patterned linen. Pair that with the softest hues of sage and gold, and we were instantly in love. The group came to party, and that they did, filling the dancefloor until the very last song.

Congratulations Jackie + Cody!

Thank you to the amazing vendor team that helped make this all possible.

Let’s talk about texture!

It may sound crazy, but texture matters when designing your reception space. It’s all about creating depth and variation throughout your venue.

Our favorite way to add texture to a space is with a mixture of table configurations. Don’t get us wrong, we love the clean, classic look of an event space filled with round tables, but the mixture can help break up your reception space. Having various table sizes can also be extremely helpful when creating your seating chart. It allows you to seat large groups of guests together rather than splitting them into smaller round tables.

Another way to add texture is with your floral design. Mixing florals at different heights can create depth and texture throughout your venue. Trust your florists and let them have creative freedom! seamlessly transitioned florals from the ceiling to the mantle to the tall and low table arrangements. Creating florals at different sight lines throughout the reception space giving that serious wow factor.

Would you believe us if we told you this arrangement was actually bridesmaid bouquets?

Our favorite way to repurpose bouquets is on the head table. Not in vases, which can block the view of your bridal party, but laid along the front of the table to create a full floral garland. created a greenery base for the “bouquet arrangement” to trail down to the floor spilling into a sea of stunning candles, creating a focal point for the head table.

Much like the butterfly, love changes as it grows to become more beautiful - Anonymous.

There's something about a first look that tugs at our heartstrings; for one, it's one of the only times throughout the day that the couple can truly be alone and reflect with one another. It also allows couples to spend more time together on their wedding day. Add a butterfly release to the mix, and Rebecca and Jon's first look tops the charts of one of our favorites to date.

The couple celebrated their wedding day at one of our favorite venues, General Potter Farm. Guests were treated to a private creekside ceremony, bursting with laughter and warm September sunshine. It truly was a picturesque day. Rebecca and Jon chose to write their vows; it was impossible not to smile throughout the ceremony. It was plain to see that each guest could feel the love these two share.

After the ceremony, guests were invited to the courtyard, where yard games and appetizers were waiting, setting the tone for a fun evening. Upstairs, the barn was bursting with pops of slate blue mixed with warm berry tones. Candlelight filled the reception space; the entire barn was glittering from the tables to the windowsills. The couple wanted to treat their guests to one of their favorite Penn State treats, Creamery Ice Cream. Classic Cone's vintage ice cream truck was the perfect setting for sunset pictures, allowing Rebecca and Jon's playfulness to shine through. After ice cream, guests were ready to pack the dance floor, singalongs, crowd surfing, and the Hora proved this group was ready to dance the night away.

Congratulations, Rebecca and Jon!

Allison + Mike's wedding is live on the blog!

Allison and Mike's wedding day was absolutely perfect. They are the most adorable couple, and the weather and setting were picture-perfect for their big day. Their wedding occurred on a private property tucked among the mountains in Boalsburg, PA. This property is incredible. Stunning views surround the entire property, all overlooking the perfect blue pond where the couple exchanged their vows. We were so excited to work with a 'fall' color palette in the summer. Warm tones of copper and burnt orange, mixed with neutral shades of eucalyptus and stone, filled the property. The best part of the day was when Allison saw her bouquet and shouted, "You made my fall color palette make sense in the summer!" Allison and Mike chose a cocktail-style reception, hands down our favorite style of reception that allowed guests to have the freedom to socialize the entire night. Throughout the reception, guests were provided with over 20 small plate options, ensuring no guest was left hungry. The night ended with a packed dancefloor, stunning sunset, and a late-night cheesesteak cart! Congratulations, Allison and Mike!

We don’t often get a weekend off to plan and execute an event for ourselves. But we go all out when we do, especially for our sweet Harper girl.

We had so much fun designing Harper’s “First Trip Around The Sun” birthday party and spent the day surrounded by our closest family and friends.
