Much like the butterfly, love changes as it grows to become more beautiful - Anonymous.
There's something about a first look that tugs at our heartstrings; for one, it's one of the only times throughout the day that the couple can truly be alone and reflect with one another. It also allows couples to spend more time together on their wedding day. Add a butterfly release to the mix, and Rebecca and Jon's first look tops the charts of one of our favorites to date.
The couple celebrated their wedding day at one of our favorite venues, General Potter Farm. Guests were treated to a private creekside ceremony, bursting with laughter and warm September sunshine. It truly was a picturesque day. Rebecca and Jon chose to write their vows; it was impossible not to smile throughout the ceremony. It was plain to see that each guest could feel the love these two share.
After the ceremony, guests were invited to the courtyard, where yard games and appetizers were waiting, setting the tone for a fun evening. Upstairs, the barn was bursting with pops of slate blue mixed with warm berry tones. Candlelight filled the reception space; the entire barn was glittering from the tables to the windowsills. The couple wanted to treat their guests to one of their favorite Penn State treats, Creamery Ice Cream. Classic Cone's vintage ice cream truck was the perfect setting for sunset pictures, allowing Rebecca and Jon's playfulness to shine through. After ice cream, guests were ready to pack the dance floor, singalongs, crowd surfing, and the Hora proved this group was ready to dance the night away.
Congratulations, Rebecca and Jon!
