Are you ready for Sunday's finals event? Can your team handle the pressure and emerge as Staunton's Smartest Cookies? The teams shown on this chart have all qualified to compete for the big prizes, but all are welcome as spectators or participants. The Chartreuse Chameleons just barely took the regular season crown and will have the largest point bonus going into the finals, but any of these teams has a shot to win. See you there at 6 !

Going into our last of six league months, we have a tie for first place! The higher a team finishes in the standings, the larger the point bonus they will have going into the finals event, so there's a lot at stake this coming Sunday. As always, you don't have to be a part of the league season to participate and win, so come on out and show us what arcane knowledge you've got rolling around in those brains! The 4th-place-choice round will be on 80s Sitcoms. Sunday August 11 at 6pm

Here are updated league standings, with two more months to go before the finals. The Purple Manatees' lead over the Chartreuse Chameleons has shrunk to only four points. As you can see, it's not too late for your team to qualify for the finals on August 25th by getting into the top ten, even if you only attend the next two months! The prize pool for the finals will have a total value of more than $200, and every team that qualifies for and attends the finals will win something great!

Halfway through our League Season and these are the current standings. Congratulations to the Purple Manatees for their come-from-behind first place finish at the May edition! But the race is still wide open and the top ten teams will all be invited to the special finals event in late August. Join us June 9th for another Staunton Smart Cookies Trivia Night !

It's that time again - the second Sunday of the month, when Staunton's smartest cookies gather at 6pm for a night of diabolically fun trivia. In a truly shocking turn of events, our fourth place team last month chose "the plays of William Shakespeare" as the category for one of our rounds for May. It's Staunton, so just grab a random person off the street if you need to bolster your team's knowledge of the bard. See you Sunday!

SSCT is back for another fun-filled night of local trivia for trivia lovers, this Sunday at 6pm . For the first time this year it looks like it will be nice enough to sit outside! And as requested by March's 4th-place finishers Cookies For Brains, one of our seven rounds will be about Zelda. Mostly the game series, but there will be some other Zeldas thrown in there, too . . .

The game's afoot this coming Sunday as we host another edition of Staunton Smart Cookies Trivia, starting at 6pm. This week's game will feature a requested round on all things Sherlock Holmes, so put on your deerstalker hat and we'll see you there. It's also the first of six events in our league series running through August, so don't miss it!
