As you all know we carry local vendor items/art and just love supporting local. As well as filling our shelves with unique goodies. E Diane Peeler Herring has been one of our local artists we’ve stocked for years. She is always adding something new to her offerings. This is a cool gardener wrap. I don’t know if any of you are migraine suffers, I hope not😔But this thing has just been a lifesaver for me the last few weeks. We have a new local vendor, Honey's Sweet Face and Body LLC! And her scrubs are incredible! Our hands are pretty rough after our work day with dirty flower stems and playing in the dirt😆 Using just a little bit of her scrub on our hands does wonders, but also works on face & body! Our hands not only look noticeably better, they smell AMAZING! She purchases her ingredients to make her goods locally, so let’s support that and buy some of her scrubs which are so reasonably priced for every budget🙌🥰
When you get to work with two amazing, kind hearted, loving people… AND you get to decorate an incredible mighty oak tree! Again!🥰What an incredible journey life is, being part of something so special, brings a joy that you can’t put into words. Good morning everyone. I’d like to introduce our new local artist! Natalia Dubrowsky… Her work is incredible! You MUST check them out in person, these pictures don’t do the work justice and I thought I had a pretty good camera.
She has created these one of kind pieces of art. All the material for the designs have been grown in her garden and lovingly laid in place to create the artwork you see here. Zoom in! The trees in the lake scene are fern frawns😮…The ocean and rocks were all hand made by Natalia. Just the ingenuity behind these creations is awe inspiring, so much I took one home myself, pictured last…I am so blessed she chose us to sell her beautiful pieces. She makes suncatchers out of Swarovski crystals and hand copperd jewelry as well… Another post coming to showcase those pieces all by them selves. They deserve their own post, so cool and creative. 🙌❤️

And a Good Friday it was…To say we are blessed is an understatement. To experience how busy we’ve been since Palm Sunday and for Easter this week, is something to behold. People do Love God! People are going to church, after the past few years, Praise God🙌 With all the seclusion and social distancing I didn’t think we would ever get back to this point, but boy am I thankful we are... The wonderful women and man I work with make it all flow with seamless precision and joy in our hearts. Which is also a blessing in itself! Again we are blessed!

We say this often, but we love buying local. Local growers may be done for the season, but our plants suppliers are not thank goodness. The orchids, ferns, & blooming plants are all from our area. The bowls were even purchased from a small business. We hope you come see all our shop has to offer for the holidays. We love local artists. Especially when it’s extended family. Tammy Stevens Bass has been making these incredibly unique pieces of art. And who doesn’t love a good sparkle…Since we put the first one in the window, really since the first piece was sitting in our work area waiting to be priced and put out… The comments were resounding and so complimentary. We have had many people come up to the window and take pictures of them even! Then one day a customer was nice enough to let us take a picture of her taking a picture, a little “proof” we aren’t embellishing😆She was the fifth person to do so btw… It’s great to fill our shelves with as much local as possible 🙌FYI, she’s even made some custom pieces for customers…

When I first started Honey Bee’s, we had no client base, we were just building our name. Weddings and joy were the way we met our community. Over the years we’ve made many friends, some we feel are family. In that we realized we don’t do funeral work, we do Tribute work! Celebrating people’s live, what an honor. I don’t mean to be morbid posting this, but we want to share what the other side of our business is… Love and Tribute💛

We have been up to lots of arbors lately! Tyler is such an elegant woman & bride, she chose the classic look for her day❤️This was our French door arbor from a house in Lexington from the 1800s. We aquired it from a bride, her father was a general contractor and converted these old doors into a wonderful rental for us. This is the first chance we’ve had to take a video decorating it🥰 Brooke is the events coordinator at The Blackburn Inn and she is amazing to work with, she is all about the details❤️ Happy Friday everybody🙌
We couldn’t be more honored we got to work with the Bailey family once again for a VERY special lady named Taylor❤️Not to mention Renae who just inspires us all to step up our game and make something amazing happen…We had a few pop up visitors while we worked @millpondphotography who are just so incredibly nice and talented too! And @claresewilkerson who was there to lend a hand for the day…I love hanging around such great people, it is such an uplifting part of our weddings days❤️🥰❤️
So when it’s time for wedding day and you’ve loaded the van and you have your toolbox loaded with all the things you need to make sure you do this arbor✅.Like you’ve done hundreds of times! Making sure it’s ready to rock, safe,secure, and holds up well in any weather that might come it’s way. You get there and halfway through doing the arbor it slides🤭😬, and you don’t have anything in your toolbox that’s going to fix it, you hope there’s an amazing coordinator there like @cr_coordination.I asked her if by chance She had any tape and she pulled out 4 kinds of tape out of her awesome bag of goodies, she saved the day and the arbor, thank you🥰💕P.S. I have a new item to add to my toolbox!!!🧰🙌
