Cana Barn is a beautiful and unique space available for weddings and special events. We reclaimed a 90+ year old bank barn, took it apart piece by piece, and rebuilt it on a new, wooded property. We had amazing craftsmen help us with this work, so that the new barn is the exact layout of the old barn, using the same timbers and about 90% of the wood from the original barn. This makes it possible t

o have an authentic barn that also has modern necessities such as bathrooms, catering kitchen, and wedding suites, all of which are handicapped accessible. We have done much of the reclaiming work ourselves, so if you browse through our page, you will see posts and videos of us taking down walls, pulling out nails, and cleaning up the original barn. We have a great story and we hope you will be part of the Cana Barn story!

One unique aspect of our venue is that we have our own in-house officiant! Kristin has been officiating weddings for 19 years now (does that make me sound old?) and loves the opportunity to work with our couples in such a meaningful capacity. She has performed weddings that are religious, semi-religious, non-religious, LGBTQ+, bi-lingual (English and Spanish), multi-racial…every wedding is unique to the couple, and it is delightful to create the ceremony together. We see 100+ years of beautiful craft in beams that were cut and raised before electricity, and a story that continues in our care. We see every wedding and celebration that has graced this place: the brides and grooms, the laughter and dancing, the flowers and food and speeches and the hard work of planning, dreaming, and then watching that dream become reality.
