Cheers to the new Mr. and Mrs. Rush. Bryce and Kalee are two of the nicest people you will meet and we so enjoyed working with them and wish them nothing but the best in life.

For the photos--the top one is the pre-shot photo and the second one is after we had taken it. Carrinton obviously did not enjoy this one yet she is the bartender and is the one who made them :-)

Today is wedding day for Bryce Rush and Kalee Rinnels. Kalee grew up in Eldora and Bryce just right outside of Hubbard. They currently live in Iowa Falls with their one-year-old daughter, Caroline, and onery Australian Shephard, Cinch. Here is their story as told by Kalee:

"We started dating in March of 2021. Bryce and I met through mutual friends, back in 2020. I was out with some friends in Marshalltown one night, embarrassingly too intoxicated to drive home to Ames and Bryce "just so happened to be in the area" (not really, he was over an hour away in Webster City but insisted upon coming to pick me up and getting me home safe). After this, we talked on and off for the next year; but Bryce remained persistent and finally reeled me in, and I couldn't be any happier that he did! Today, we share a beautiful life together, with our sweet daughter, Caroline.

We got engaged May 27, 2023, after our good friends' wedding reception. Bryce had gone with one of his best friends, Branden, who just so happened to be the groom, and picked out an engagement ring that day while I was helping the bride get ready. Needless to say, that ring was burning a hole in his pocket all day, and he just couldn't wait to pop the question. Immediately following the reception, Bryce asked me to marry him-and the rest is history".

When we asked Bryce and Kalee what they are anticipating the most about today, their response was "We are most excited to exchange our vows and share in our joy with our closest friends and family on wedding day!"

We can't wait to share in your day as well. We hope today is everything you dreamed of it to be + more and we wish you nothing but the best as you begin the journey as husband and wife.

Happy, happy birthday to the matriarch of the DeBerg family, grandma Darlene. To know our grandma is to love our grandma. She is head of laundry at the venue (yep, every single linen for every single event is laundered by grandma) and she is head of meal service for DeBerg Family Farms during spring planting and fall harvest. This picture was taken this year during harvest where we are all gathered around eating a hot lunch prepared by grandma.

Grandma--we hope you have the best birthday ever. We love you more than words can describe.

Cheers to the new Mr. and Mrs. Adelmund. If you spend just a few minutes with this couple (and their families), you realize how genuine they are and how good of people they are. Here is a Celtic wish we would like to share with you:

Today is wedding day for Tryston Adelmund & Kymberli Lind. Tryson is from Indepence and Kym from Aplington. Tryston works for CF Public Safety. He also works as police officer in Aplington, and a farmer during harvest. Kym works for Tanager as a school-based therapist in Vinton Shellsburg School district. Kym brought River (her black lab) with her into the relationship. Here is their story as told by Kym:

We started dating on June 19, 2021. One night while working at MercyOne, I was complaining to one of my friends (Lea) about how much guys can suck. She had asked what I looked for in a guy and I told her. She asked if she could give my number/Snapchat to a guy that her now ex-boyfriend worked with. I had told her to go for it.

Tryston started texting and snapping me, and it took a couple of months for me to feel comfortable enough to meet him. We both worked 3rd shift at the time, and I asked if he wanted to go out for coffee and breakfast after we both got off work. He agreed so we met at Cup of Joe in Cedar Falls after both working 3rd shift. We sat and talked for almost 6 hours (absolutely no filter left at this time, so I don't know how I didn't manage to scare him away). Next thing you know, we started dating and then started looking at moving in together. The rest is history".

When we asked Kym and Tryston what is something they wanted to tell their family and friends, their response was "Thank you to everyone who has worked hard and showed up to make all of it happen! A huge shout out to both of our parents and to siblings (Sam and Kennedy). We love you all and hope to see you there ❤️".
