Feathered Bear Photo Studio, LLC is a BRAND NEW photo studio rental space in Stephenville, Texas. It would also be perfect for cake smash or birthday sessions.
With different studio spaces to choose from, the possibilities are endless at Feathered Bear! Photographers, book a studio for one session or get a membership and use it as you need it! Studios available are the Newborn Studio, the Boudoir/Lifestyle Studio and the Mini/Theme room. The Mini/Theme room will really be usable for whatever sessions you need. I plan to set up for each holiday, so it wou
ld be a perfect room for your Christmas Minis, Easter Minis and everything in between. Also available will be space for small events and meetings. Feathered Bear is located in a house, so there is a large living and dining space that can be used for Baby Showers, Wedding Showers, Small Birthday Parties or Organizational Meetings. We have some changes upcoming with Feathered Bear! And we wanted to make sure to give everyone a heads up and keep you all informed of the goings on over here!
After many discussions, lots of questioning, lots of thought and prayers, Riley and I have officially decided to list the studio for sale. That means that sometime in the near future, we will be closing! With that said, we will continue to operate with a slightly different schedule and less availability until the house sells.
If you have thought about doing a session with us, I suggest getting that scheduled sooner rather than later.
There are going to be a few changes within the studio, just to get it ready to picture and list. So if you have something specific that you wanted, let me know and we can see what we can do to make it happen. The biggest change is the Curtains in the Dark room are coming down. So if you wanted something in there, the sooner we can get that done the better!
We aren't sure of future plans at this moment, as far as we can tell into the future, we won't be opening up a different location, but if something changes, we will be sure to let everyone know!
We have had the opportunity to meet and work with some wonderful people and some amazing photographers, and we wish them all the best in the future. It has been an interesting experience being a member of the business community in Stephenville. There are some great things happening around town right now and in the future that I can't wait to watch come to fruition!

Our Mini/Theme room has been such a versatile space here at the studio. It has served many purposes over the last year! From our "Selfie Stations" to our Mini sets and Kindergarten Graduation, School Pictures and Sports Pictures, even Cake Smashes and Birthday Pictures! Right now it's got the couches our photographers have been utilizing for bo***ir sessions in it! We even added some useful lights in the corners to brighten things up!

With the new dark bo***ir room we have been introducing, we have gotten the question of "What about the other rooms? Are they still available?"
We are slowly transforming into a bo***ir focused studio, but we still offer everything we always have!
The newborn room is not set up 24/7 now, but we have all of the equipment that was in there and it is easily set up in the "Mini Room." Don't hesitate to book your newborn session with us!
The "Mini Room" is serving as a flex space. Right now it has our couches set up in it for bo***ir or lifestyle type photos, but soon we will have the backdrop pulled back out and getting ready to do some school pictures. It can be set up in just about any way you might need it to! The only thing that stays in there and won't be moved out any time soon is the red couch (per the furniture mover's, aka Riley, instructions).
Just because the new dark room is getting all the attention doesn't mean this room doesn't still hit! They both have such a different feel but they both are absolutely BEAUTIFUL and will be perfect for your session!!
This room will still work perfectly for lifestyle type photos as well, if bo***ir isn't your thing!

Hot Girl Summer Round 2 was amazing!! If you missed it, you missed out big time!!! Be on the lookout for more fun events to come!!
Between pregnancy, cows and a 5 year old things have been a little slower at the studio than we want, but look at this floor with the first coat of sealer on!! I am SO EXCITED to see how it ends up and start getting things moving a little quicker over here!!! I am currently in the process of figuring out the best way to take bookings. If you have any suggestions I will definetely take them. I will probably start booking for use in June soon!! I'm only 6 weeks out from baby, so we will wait to get our first session or event date until he makes his arrival!
We are finally seeing progress happening at the studio. The kitchen and dining room floors are up and ready to be redone, the old floors are pulled up in the hall and the living room and we have been slowly but surely getting those refinished and today we made some great progress on the Boudoir/Lifestyle room. I never dreamed that covering up that light wood would change this room so much. Plus I have a fun surprise coming for everyone in here!! I cannot wait to get yall in here to see all of our hard work! :)
