Not fancy enough for some folk.
However, for my personal bbq area I tend to focus on functionality and resourcefulness. Give me a hole with burning wood, I'm happy to cook from that.

February 10th was the Burlington Jaycees "Off the Hook" fishing derby and raffle fundraiser..
Double D/ Darrell Paschall as one of the food sponsors cooking the competition winning chili was being served for the event.

This year I'm grateful for the third place judges selection at the Lake Geneva Winterfest Chile cook-off and fundraiser.
The event was sponsored by Lake Geneva Meats and held at Hawk's View Golf Course. February 3rd 2018.
The turnout of folks was phenomenal with over 400 enjoying themselves tasting chili listen to live music and just enjoying the day. with their favorite beverage in hand.
I will be featuring my competition chili at the Burlington Jaycees "off the hook" fishing derby February 10th. On Brown's Lake.
Will also be providing the deep fried cornbread and a Black Point Beer Mole drizzle to go along with your Chile.
This is another large event raising money for a good cause. Come on out, support and enjoy the events for this day.
Double D Chile sponsors for this event received one gallon of my Chile for every $100 of donation to the Burlington Jaycees event.
That my friends is a good trade for a great cause.
I want to thank Creative Welding, Peck and Weis ,Studio Winery and Ed and Penny Emma for their sponsorship donation.
Also want to thank everyone for a great 2017 and I'm looking forward to feeding a lot of folks for 2018.

Well I've been a process getting ready for the big chili cook-off at the Lake Geneva Winterfest this coming weekend Saturday the 3rd at Hawk's View Golf Course..
See if I can repeat first place red chili and overall People's Choice of all the categories..
There's live music lot of beverages at the bar and a pretty good turnout and getting bigger every year... Come on out and and see me and enjoy everybody else is chilling as well.
