Cheers to a new year! 2023 was a year of change, personally and professionally. I disconnected from social media, cultivated good boundaries, focused on my family and learned to slow down. It was messy, emotional and exactly what I needed.

There were quintessential summer days spent at the beach/pool with my little boy, park adventures and play dates, butterfly chasing and appreciation for colorful sunsets and fun cloud formations. There were also hard days as I questioned everything(!!!) and navigated through a difficult pregnancy. And then in September, after much anticipation, we completed our family of four and welcomed a sweet baby girl into the world named Astrid.

Life with a toddler and a newborn is still a beautiful mess and I have learned so much about myself, how resilient I am and how much I still love what I do while still being present with my family. I will continue to produce events in 2024, however will only be accepting a limited amount.

Outside of these events, I’ll be traveling the country (we’re a bit terrified to travel internationally with a toddler and newborn just yet) with my family, starting plans to grow Artem’s first garden, finish Astrid’s nursery and JUST BE. Cheers to a beautiful, slow year of peace, self-acceptance, joy, adventure and a hella good time! ✌️

One of our top 2023 collaborations was designing and styling a photoshoot for Wisconsin Bride magazine which ultimately made the cover of the Fall/Winter issue!

We worked with a talented team and really leaned into Pantones color of the year, Viva Magenta. We don’t often get to design with such a powerful and bold color but we had fun and created something Barbie would be proud of! 🌸🌺🎀🩷

You're not going to see super fancy reels, at least not yet, but you can expect incredible transformations and heartfelt stories about our amazing couples.

I'll be sharing more details about Brooks and Liz's beautiful Lake Geneva destination wedding next week. But first, I want to take a minute or two, and give much respect due, to the transformation that's made a difference in my world. 💃🙌

I mean how incredible is this reception space?!

I also have to give floral expert, Jerad at buds 'n bloom, and his team a huge shout out. Just three short days before the wedding, I received a text message from one of the bride's, Liz. She decided she really did want to add greenery and a chandelier to the venue space. I let her know we would find a way to make it happen. I called Jerad who needed to make a few calls and within fifteen minutes, he called me back to confirm he and his team were able to source and install Liz's vision. I excitedly shared the news with Liz and Brook's and the rest of it is history! The textured greens, suspended from the tented space, and the incredible chandelier really brought everything together, don't you agree?

Our social media hiatus has concluded and as we begin to receive the most beautiful galleries back from our couples, we are positively delighted to share these incredible love stories with you.

Starting with the wedding of Mariya and Sam at the stunning Milwaukee Art Museum this past November.

I still remember receiving Mariya's call just 73 days before her wedding. She was stressed, anxious and craved to feel a sense of excitement about her wedding day. I listened to Maryia; her wants, needs, and desire for a perfectly planned and styled wedding weekend. She and Sam had the majority of their key vendors already secured but needed assistance pulling everything together, including their design. Together, Mariya and I worked to visualize her and Sam's dream wedding; a design that was complimentary to the modern and sleek elegance of the Milwaukee Art Museum and unique to the couple’s style. We worked with floral expert Jerad, with Buds 'N Bloom, who provided confidence and excitement every time we spoke with him on the floral designs.

To see all of these components come together, in just a few short months, brings me so much happiness when I look at these gorgeous images from Heather Cook Photography.

Couples, let this serve as a reminder that anything is possible when you have a great team behind you!

Bridal model turned real life bride! Five years ago I was on set for a bridal photo shoot and Kayla was the model. Kayla was so polite, beautiful, a bit shy and overall just really wonderful to work with. We connected afterwards and I was able to keep up-to-date on all of her (and Jared’s) milestones! Over the years there were birthday celebrations, career changes, a move to a new city, fur baby Ellie, the purchase of their first home; so many wonderful achievements and events. It was also during this time that I witnessed Kayla grow her confidence and find her voice. From creating Team Butterfly Wings (a group committed to raising awareness and funds for lung cancer research) to speaking about grief and her identity as an Asian American, Kayla has become a beacon of light in this world that sometime seems chaotic and unjust. Kayla, I respect you so much and I know your mom would be so proud of the woman you have become. What a privilege to get to know you more over the years, be on this journey with you to the aisle and witness you marry your best friend. It’s definitely fate that we met and I’m so, so grateful! ✨🤍

We’ve been working with Jacqueline and Daniel for three years! After multiple forced postponements it is FINALLY their day!

We have the largest vendor team we’ve ever worked with (so much talent!!), three separate room designs and experiences, and a ridiculous amount of disco balls! It’s going to be soooo good! ✨
