We had our monthly game night this week, and Wheel of Fortune was what we played! As with everything we play here at the Club, it had twists. Despite that, we still spun a wheel, and Vanna helped us reveal correct answers. Congratulations to the Herders who excelled much of the way through and won with the final phrase, “fix your divots.”

The annual Yappy Hour took place last week as we closed the pool down for the season. The dogs, and their humans, had a great time playing together. Part of this annual event is the tradition that one of our generous members makes a donation to the Humane Society based on how many dogs attend. The donation keeps growing every year!

It was (quite literally,) the party of the century this past Saturday. Many folks dressed up and leaned into the 1920s theme, enjoyed dinner and cake, dancing, and browsing through physical items from our Club’s history. It was a great time to be able to connect with each other in a unique way. Even though the tent is gone and the decor is stored away, we can carry the excitement for our 100 years even longer!

The kids celebrated the Club’s 100th year last week. With the variety of activities from the 1920s to explore, (one of them being golf,) playing marbles and creating paper dolls surprisingly seemed to be a unique experience for these youngsters! We also worked on creating a time capsule for future kids to open and learn how we lived in 2025.

It’s safe to say that the mermaid was the highlight of the mid-summer pool party this past Saturday; crafts took a back seat for this occasion. At first, kids did not know quite what to think, but they quickly became fast friends with their mermaid visitor!

The Ladies Member Guest Golf Outing was this week and we all really leaned into the 1920s theme!

Congratulations to Jeff Walker and his brother Kent Walker on their impressive win at this year’s Men’s Member-Guest Tournament!

The Walkers took home the title after a thrilling 3-hole playoff in the final shootout, clinching the victory with a steady par as their opponents carded a bogey.

That’s a wrap on the Second Annual Car Show at Stevens Point Country Club!

Thank you to everyone who came out and made it such a memorable day. From vintage classics to head-turning modern rides, the lot was full of style, shine, and horsepower. We couldn’t have asked for a better crowd, can’t wait to do it all again next year! 🏎️🔥☀️

We’re also proud to share that we raised $500 through raffle ticket sales, with all proceeds going toward the training of K9s for Portage County. Your support made a real difference. Thank you! 🐾
