Happy Flyover Friday! Today’s featured hole is hole #1. Read the description and a few tips on how to play it best, below ⬇️:
This is a gettable short par 4 which requires positioning off the tee. There is plenty of room on the right side, but if the pin is on the back right, don’t get greedy. Hit to the center of green, 2 putts and be happy to get par. Avoid the bunker along the left side unless you are a bomber, then rip it right over it. Trees and O.B. are further left so favor the right side.
This green is sloped back to front, firm and very fast. If you are in between clubs, short is better than long while approaching this green. It is very difficult to keep your putt close to the hole anywhere from above the pin. If you go anywhere over this green, especially long left, be happy with a bogey.
A smart play is to hit your 200-210 yard club down the middle or middle right and have about 145 or less in. Remember, hit your approach shot short and let it run up.
