A community member stopped by yesterday to donate some snacks for our visitors for our snack share area.
This snack area is open to all our visitors.

To meet the needs within our community, this is entirely ran off donations. Other museums within WI have similar pay-what-you-can models and are a larger scale, while others may have a flat fee for snacking where food is kept behind the desk.

We accept all types of donations towards this, minus candy. They can be dropped off either at front desk, placed right on the shelf, or left at the front gate if it's after hours.

The mission of the Central Wisconsin Children's Museum is to engage children and families by providing a space where learning and play come together.

CWCM is committed to continuing their participation in the Museums for All Initiative to stay accessible for families with young children to attend and play.
M4A allows us the opportunity to offer reduced admission, alongside grant sponsors like Monogram Foods to allow us to maintain our standards of programming as we rely on admissions alongside donations to keep our nonprofit operating.

Museums for All Admission:
$3 per person over 12 months old, up to 4 family members.
These discounts are available for families on WIC or FoodShare, must present card at time of check-in.
Membership is $40 for 6 months for CWCM.

We have a recycling-friendly craft making bathroom tissue tubes into owls!

We've got another fun art mania planned for next week! We are going to be learning paper weaving to make some fall placemats. Come check it out Friday, Nov 21st from 11:00 - 11:30 and see what you can create!

We love seeing all the new stuffies get examined not only in this room but also in our Pet Vet exhibit. We love being a host site for this event for CLASP and bringing awareness to what child life professionals do for our children.

Celebrate the spirit of giving with our second Holiday Parade Viewing Party Raffle Contest! Last Minute tickets available for purchase tonight when the museum opens at 3pm.

Join the fun and enter for a chance to win a private party for up to 30 close friends or family and exclusive use of the museum on November 20th to view the Stevens Point Downtown Holiday Parade, starting at 6pm! Enjoy exclusive use of the museum for play and gathering. Bring food to share, music to set the festive mood, and stay warm while viewing the parade nearly unobstructed (those trees are nice though).

Each Entry is $25 per ticket, no limit on entries. So far there is under a handful of entries, so chances are high for selection!
Tickets can be purchased from CWCM in person or contact a Board Member to purchase.
Need not be present to win, must be 18 or older to enter.
Drawing to be held November 12th at 5pm to allow winners one week to invite and coordinate.

Child Life Association-Stevens Point presents a Teddy Bear Clinic hosted at CWCM.
Come choose your own stuffed animal to stuff or bring your own.
Limited ticket event to first 30 families/children. Ticket secures plushie during time period.
Work with aspiring child life students from UWSP and learn about medical play and how to reduce anxiety when visiting the doctor.
All ages can participate as long as there is an adult to help them. The "clinic" part of the event is geared for ages 3 and up, however, younger ages can stuff a teddy bear and do some of the activities offered.
