Another competition down, and we picked up two awards this weekend and learned a lot on how to manage time with doing 11 turn-ins. We were hoping to bring home more, but it is more important to celebrate our wins over our losses. Great job Billy and the Broomstick BBQ team. Also many thanks again to all of our friends, followers and family in supporting us! Congrats to all the other winners this weekend.

The Broomstick BBQ team is all set up and getting ready for 5 turn-ins tonight. Sean will be doing the 2 SCA steak turn ins and Kelly will be doing SCA crab appetizer and People’s Choice Wings. For the first time Billy will compete and hand in our second batch of People’s Choice Wings. Come out and enjoy the great weather!!! First round of Sean’s steak selection, which one will get turned in?

Please stop in and get some great BBQ tomorrow evening and Saturday. There will be plenty of vendors selling food and all things BBQ. We have already placed our trailer at the site and will be competing in SCA and People’s Choice Wings tomorrow night.

It was a great week at the The Stewartstown Carnival. We would like to thank everyone that stopped by and bought a pit sandwich, all the volunteers that helped in the stand and all the first responders at Eureka Volunteer Fire Department. It is always a special week for us knowing that our Dad was a founding member of this great event. We can’t wait till next year to celebrate the 50th anniversary!! The entire Broomstick BBQ family thanks you all.

Thank you again to Stonewood for making another appearance Eureka Volunteer Fire Department. We have plenty of pit beef, ham & turkey. Our chicken wings and pulled chicken are almost gone. Please come out and enjoy the great music and rides.

Important Update on specials at the Eureka Volunteer Fire Department Carnival!!
Due to the forecasted storms, there will not be a special tonight. The new schedule is below. We will have ham, turkey and beef tonight! We apologize for the change in plans and hope you will stop by every night to support the fire company.

Thursday: Pulled Pork Sandwiches, Mac n Cheese and Brisket Sandwiches

Friday: Smoked Wings and Pulled Chicken Sandwiches

What a great first night at the Eureka Volunteer Fire Department carnival! So many of you braved the heat to not only support the fire company, but to celebrate this town we call home - Stewartstown, PA! From Assistant Chiefs and members of the fire company, to friends, family, and the community who stopped by, we are so grateful! We can't wait to see you all this week! Back by popular demand, will be another special on Friday night, chicken wings!

The countdown is on for the Eureka Volunteer Fire Department carnival in Stewartstown!! We will be serving up pit beef, ham and turkey every night. This year, our specials will be: Wednesday - pulled pork and mac n cheese, Thursday - brisket sandwich, and Friday - pulled chicken sandwich. We hope to see you there! Carnival runs July 15 - 20.

WooHoo!!! The crew brought home 3rd place in ribs, 3rd place in People's Choice pulled pork and 5th overall in the Backyard BBQ competition! Great job, team!

We have started the preparation for this weekend’s York County BBQ Festival in Delta, Pa. I was able to finish up installing the electrical system in our new bbq trailer. The chicken and ribs are thawing out in the fridge and Kelly is working on her plans for the SCA appetizer competition. Please come out and see us this Friday night or Saturday!
